A-Salaamu Alaaykum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatu With each day that comes to past the Muslims are becoming more aware of their political situation in this world. This is something magnificent to see despite the many attempts to separate politics from Islam which causes the Muslims to become blind to the reality of their political state and instead focus on minor less trivial matters. It can safely be said that until the Muslims become fully or at the least majority aware of their political state they will not make any significant strives to improve their condition in this world which if done with the pure intention(i.e. in pursuit of Allah’s pleasure) can ultimately benefit them in the hereafter. Politics and our involvement in them is not only part of Islam, but it is part of the entire foundation which Islam stands upon. This foundation which we refer to as Tawheed(i.e. Islamic Monotheism). When we break down Tawheed into its subcategories you find today that most will break it down into four separate categories. These being:
•
Tawheed ar-Raboobiyyah
•
Tawheed al-Ibadah(al-Uloohiyyah)
•
Tawheed asma wa-Sifaat
•
Tawheed al-Hakimiyyah
Look at one of these by itself, Tawheed al-Hakimiyyah. This is the Tawheed which explains to us the Oneness of Allah subhana wa ta’alaa in judgment and legislation. This meaning firstly that the way in which we pass any form of judgment must be in accordance to that which Allah prescribed by His judgment. This meaning secondly that the legislation in which our Rulers are to legislate with must be that which Allah has prescribed, the Shariah. There will never be success in the Islamic Revolution and the re-establishment of the Islamic State unless it be upon this foundation and this foundation alone. So with realizing that politics and our involvement in them is part of Tawheed itself we can say, as I already have, that there will never be any major advances in improving the condition of our people unless we become more politically aware and involved. When we say ‘involved’ this does not mean to lobby, vote, run for senate, congress, or house, etc. as to do so would be just as much Shirk(polytheism) as ruling by the manmade laws, an act which we have already condemned. What we mean by ‘involved’ is by doing so in accordance to the methodology of The
Prophet Muhammad(saw) who along with the Sahaba would openly condemn and reject the power structure at that time, while at the same time providing a better solution(i.e. Islam) to the people. So we as Muslim Revolutionaries must stand before the waves of Western Imperialism that have flooded our lands on a unimaginable magnitude, and openly condemn not only the acts of horror which have taken place against our people, but also the legislation and judgment which has allowed these acts to even take place. When a human being shoots another human being you do not only condemn the act and leave it at that, you look deeper into it and see what it was that motivated that human being to commit the act against the other. So we must do the same with our own situation. Upon this premise the Islamic Revolution can gain grounds as it is nothing other than the act of enjoining the good and forbidding the evil. Something commanded upon every person who carries the title of Muslim, as Allah says:
Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islam), enjoining Al-Ma'rûf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islâm orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islâm has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful. (The Noble Qur'an 3:104) It is the duty upon each and every Muslim Revolutionary to take part in this effort to crush not only the psychical effort of our enemies, but also their ideological war which intensifies by the day. In conclusion…. •
We must educate ourselves extensively on the political situation of the Muslims so that when we speak we speak only with knowledge.
•
We must put a sincere effort with a pure intention(i.e. in pursuit of Allah’s pleasure) to fight the ideological war which is being waged against Islam and the Muslim by countering it with our ideological Revolution which is based on the premises of ‘Revolution through Revival’. Revolution in the sense of this being a both religious and political struggle for chance and revival because what we offer to the people is nothing new, only that which came as the. revelation through The Prophet Muhammad(saw)
For anyone among this Ummah who is yet to join the Islamic Revolution, it is time for them to do so. Many people have gone through the past years with the belief that an Islamic Revolution is already taking place. However this is anything other than reality. The Islamic Revolution has yet to begin, however the seal which holds it is on its breaking point. Within a short time insha’Allah we will see this seal break. So this is a call to all intellectuals, political geniuses, economists, and all others who wish to join this caravan for the sake of Allah and in pursuit of His pleasure. Let it be known who you are and your intention and insha’Allah the Revolution will come to you.
