Name: Mridula P Roll no: 17F819 Program: PGDM Your response: Joining TAPMI as the sole psychology student of the batch gave me the drive to compete with my technically skilled peers in academics to be ranked in the Top 3 of the 2017-19 batch as of Term V. I have also assisted the learning of my peers by conducting tutoring sessions for HR subjects. My experience in TAPMI has been well-rounded with opportunities to represent TAPMI as a Moderator for a Panel Discussion in DISHA 2019 with HR industry leaders, and win 2nd prize in sHRishti, Atharva’s flagship HR event, in 2018. I have been an Associate Advisor at LADC and led the recruitment process for the junior team of LADC. Apart from this, I have acted as a student SPOC for issues related to sexual harassment within and outside college campus as a member of the Internal Complaints Committee over 2 years. Under the guidance of Prof Amol Dhaigude, I was the first author for a research paper on “An exploratory study on the pattern of traffic accidents in India” in World Transport Policy and Practice. TAPMI has also given me the opportunity to help the student community. I have conducted mock interviews in collaboration with the HR Forum for PGP1 & PGP2 students which had led to the successful and timely placement of over 8 students. I have also distributed buttermilk to the local policemen as part of an SEG initiative. I believe I will be able to add value to this award with my hardworking nature and interpersonal skills.
