This Is My Story

This is my story... 2nd, 2081

September

I was born on January 2nd, in 1990, in Osorno city, south of Chile, when my sister Melissa was 3 years and a half old. My parents, María Eugenia Ruiz, and Franklin Hoy, decided to name me Ginger, like my father's aunt. My mom wanted to name me, Penélope, but, good for me, that's not my name. I lived in Antofagasta till I was 3 years old, then we moved to Valdivia, because my father had a job there. In Valdivia I lived my childhood, with my sister and my cousins. When I was 6 years old, I went to the School, Inmaculada Concepcion religious school, where I made friends, the next year, in the summer of 1997, we came back to Antofagasta, when I was 7. In March 10th my little brother Thomas was born. I went to the School San José, and I graduated there, in 2007. In 2008 I met Jonathan, who was in 4th year of Industrial engineer, we fell in love with each other, and he was my first boyfriend. In 2009 I did enter to the University. I loved the career, in third year, I went to USA, for an exchange, I studied one semester in a University there and I learned a lot. In 2010, my boyfriend became an Engineer, and he started to work in a mine. Two years later, in 2012 I graduated from English Pedagogy and I started to work as a teacher and a translator, and I earned a lot of money. In 2016, my boyfriend received an important propose, they proposed him to work and live in Milan, Italy. So we decided to get marry in Chile in April 2nd in 2016, I was 26 and he was 29, we decided to do it quickly to then move to Italy, and we did it. In June of that year, we moved to Milan, to a beautiful house, we really love to live there, my husband loved his new job, and I learned to speak Italian and found a job that I loved too. We traveled a lot for Europe.

In 2018, we had our first child, Tomás. Then we had twins, Bianca and Nicolás, in 2020. In Milan I studied to be a Professional Chef for two years. In January in 2023, for my birthday, we had a family trip, to the Caribbean, we had a lot of fun there, it was a gift from my husband. In 2024 my fourth child, Felipe, was born, so we had to buy a new bigger house. In 2026 I started my own business with a Restaurant of international food in Italy, it was so successful, so now I have my own line of Restaurant in Italy, France, Chile and Argentina. We had our fifth baby, Danielle, in 2028, when I was 38 years old. When she was born, me and my husband decided to have anymore children, but in 2030 I got pregnant of Emilio, but anyway we were so happy to have him. I love my children, they are all so pretty and intelligent, all of them got graduated from the University. Tomás (63) is a very good doctor now, Bianca (61) is an artist, and a teacher, like me. Nicolás (61) became a famous footballer, he played in Germany and England in very important football clubs, now he is the coach of another important football club in Spain. Felipe (57) is an architect, he designed the tallest building in the world and he designed many of my restaurants. Danielle (53) is a very good and famous actress, and Emilio (51) is an Engineer, just like his dad. I am so proud of them. They will inherit my line of Restaurants and they will open new restaurants in Latin America and will start with Hotels. Now I live with my husband, I am 91 years old and he is 94, we came back to Chile to live our last years, we move here to the south of Chile 15 years ago. And we are so happy because we had a very beautiful life we have a lot of grandsons and great-grandsons, I can rest in peace now.
