The Seventh Angel’s Message – Come Out of Her My People Jean Cooke 1

Concluding Comments on Book of Revelation – The Call to Come Out The sixth angel’s resounding cry, “It is done” goes unheeded! With the opening of the Book of Revelation the mystery of God is no longer. It is finished, the book is open. Revelation would not be revelation unless it reveals! Today is that day. The complete mystery of God resolves with the open book. All is perceived, understood, to the true remnant. The rest remain where they are, lost in total darkness, in a wilderness of their own making. The angels’ messages traced to the roots in the O.T., the application in pre-exilic times, post-exilic era, through to the Messianic Body, and projected forward to the days-to-come. Prophecies see the past, the present, and the future – together, as one. Condemnation is heaped on all who fail the test of life; all those who fail to comprehend the resolution of the mystery of their God. The lion of the tribe of Judah has opened the book. Yes opened. Can you see the story, do you understand or are the blinkers bonking. The preachers of “truth” are judged and found wanting. They have no inclination of the contents of Revelation. Probably they have not read it. Time is past for them, the lectern no longer beckons. Time is no longer. They are judged. They cannot hide beneath their hoods. Time has expired, they cannot see there is no comprehension of the ancient message. They glaringly stare silently, blankly, what they thought is not, time has passed them by, whilst they discarded the Book of all Books – the great Revelation. They cannot see the forms in the book. Eyes cannot see, ears cannot hear. The ancient writers’ intent of persuasion, joy and exaltation is lost in the dogmatic cryptic cliché - they fail to react. Their words of paradise are spoken like a cockatoo. Blinded by falsehoods all is oblivion, all is vanity. Thousands and thousands of false interpretations of the Book of Revelation pour out from the factories of hell, all to no avail. All worthless. It is time to cut loose, time to leave, time to come, come out. John of Patmos was shown the churches are spiritually in a grave condition. More corruption has entered since the fourth angel pleaded to awaken from the intoxication of dogmas. But why were the angels worried about man, “for, dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.” But man, male and female, is the star, the conceptual being. That sets man apart from all other living creatures. The psalmist asked, “What is man that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visiteth him? Thou made him a little lower than the angels; thou crownest him with glory and honour, and did set him over the works of thy hands: Thou hast put all things under his feet.” The fourth angel is about to return, to reiterate the warning a second time, treating adults with circumspection, as no one, no one, has paid attention to the messages. The writers of Hebrews continuing on from the psalmist wrote, “But we see not yet all things put under him. But we see Jesus (the Messianic Body) who was made a little lower than the angels (messengers) for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honour; (death = silenced, voice quelled) that he (messianic body) by the grace of God should taste death (experienced being silenced by manipulative literalisms) for every man...For both he that sanctifieth and they (we) who are sanctified (made holy, set apart) are all one:” Heb. 2:8-11. The writers were trying to discourage the Jews from regressing to Judaism. The messianic body, bearers of a new testament, has superseded the messengers of O.T. revelations. 2

The messianic body, the redeeming power, is not the nature of messengers. They who make up this body are the seed of Abraham. They are all one. Cleansed, following a set example, with one heart, one mind, one in objective, one in faithfulness. We are one body, one spirit. “Knit together as one man,” is the clarion call. In his pristine condition, sanctified, holy, set-apart, this was man’s state of perfection before acquisition was born (Cain, see Gen. 4:1). Acquisition took what it had no right to take – man’s conscience. Humanity fell from grace. But man’s liberty, perfection, sanctification can be restored, that is the message. Without probity all is to no avail, all is vexation of the spirit, all vanity. In the Book of Revelation, the fourth angel returns to this deafening ignorance, oblivion, to the resounding of the warning for a second time, “Babylon the great is fallen (Babylon has alight on you).” The angel is most annoyed. The message has been given, the form revealed, yet all is silent, as though nothing has happened. But the great inversion has finished. Then the seventh angel comes with the final message to “come out”, to come out of all the falsehoods, deceptions, lies and misdemeanours. The seventh angel comes with the book open – with the mystery resolved. This is the final call, not to the preachers, nor the ministers of the flock, but to the deceived to “come out”, “come out” now, and accept the message of Revelation – from the texts of the Bible and not from private interpretation. There is a chance for those mislead, but time is short. You either take a stance or perish at your own will. You are either here or there. You are making a choice, you have nowhere to turn. There is no intercessor now. You are not an island. Read and apply.

The Return of the Fourth Angel after the 6th Angel’s Message – A Repeat of the Warning “And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.” Rev. 18:1-3. This message could not be stronger, deception has alighted on you. This is a repeat of Rev. 14:8 when the warning was first made. But man, so convinced of possession of truth, failed to heed the words of warning. Now it is made emphatic a second and last time. The fourth angel (Rev. 14:8) observed the third angel’s message (Rev. 14:7) had been completely misinterpreted. Hence his hasty visit. Professing teachers of “righteousness,” blinded by dogma, set the great revelation of the Creator, upon the evil foundation of literalisms of many and various kinds. What a botched-up mess ensued. This calamitous fault drove innocent minds deeper into idolatry. Some looking for an antitypical high priest entering a temple, somewhere in a place called heaven. Some pray to pillars of stone or miraculous fence posts with apparent images of Jesus. Jeremiah had already written about such a practice. “Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the Lord, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; Yet I sent them not nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the Lord.” Jer. 23; 22. 3

The fourth angel came to warn of a disaster. Babylon, he said, has alighted on you and made all drink of the wine of fornication. Oh, how often he has called. Was this message heeded? No. True to type, it is written, “They are impudent children and stiff hearted...they are a rebellious house.” Eze. 2:4, 5. The fifth angel (Rev. 14:9-11), also alarmed at the “thumbs down” response, also expressed a grave warning to the masses. Wake-up or risk dire consequences. You are being led astray, said he. Apparently all was to no avail. Therefore, the fourth angel returns in Rev. 18 with a very illuminous message for the true-hearted. So bright, clear, and articulate with mighty power, that the earth glowed with the splendour of his wisdom. This angel is not pleased. Having to plead his former message, “Babylon is fallen, is fallen,” obviates his rebuff. He comes re-emphasising his final message, to the multitude imprisoned in the darkest dungeons of the soul. Conditions in Christendom are now at a very low ebb, having become the habitation of devils. Sounds frightening. There is mention of foul spirits and unclean birds. What is more, John gives an even grimmer picture that should sober the most inebriated mind. All nations, yes all, not some, not many or most, but all peoples have drunk the dogma of the wrath of Babylon’s fornications. Even kings have been involved in the most unscrupulous manner. Can one imagine so crippling an environment? The woman, the church, has become a whore also bolstering the wealth of merchants. And for those responsible for deluding the harmlessly naive, Rev. 18:6-19 describes the greatest of all judgments and sorrow. Throughout the O.T. prophetic books, Babylon, conveys multiple chaos (confusion), is condemned for its harshness and ruthlessness towards any dissent whatsoever. Israel and Judah follow the beaten path, persecuting the liberated spirit. The first three chapters of Micah give a detailed report of such violence. One in principle, Judah was certainly a captive of Babylon. Clandestine subjugation by might or power, subservience of the unwitting, robbing the individual of his God-given dignity, his redemption – but this is all justified. I can save face. “I sit a queen.” Rev. 18:7. These are the words of modernity’s priests who all concur. “I shall be a lady forever; so that thou didst not lay these things to thy hurt, neither did remember the latter end of it. Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasure, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me: I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children. But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.” Isa. 47:7-9. This was a judgment of Babylon. Denying integrity is an attempt to undermine the power of creativity, showing no respect for the gracefulness of amity. To deny a soul a conscience, forbidding to know for thyself, is to cut-off life. Arrogance of egoism, the negative particle, overruling the active mind, hinders but does not prevent the onward evolvement. Evolution works on the firm foundation of compatibility. Each person is innately built to fulfil a complete wholesome stimulating life. All are entitled to accomplish their full potential and become the “I am” that arose above the rest of the animal kingdom. God Almighty made man a little lower than messengers; crowned him with glory and honour. “Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet.” 4

Humankind is now vanguard. What self-appointed authority should deny man this heaven-sent blessing. See Heb. 2:7. This is the forth angel’s stern reiteration. All manipulation must cease. The exemplar sets before us a teacher, a judge. This is the story. Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon was very intolerant. Should you not obey him you should be put to death. Dan. 3 tenders an exposition of tyranny; Nebuchadnezzar had built a golden image. All must fall down and worship the great achievement. If not, they were to be cast into the fiery furnace. Three Hebrew captives Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego, believed their God, yes their God, would deliver them stating, “we will not serve thy gods...” They were cast fully clothed into the furnace. The men thrusting them into the fire were slain by the exceeding heat. Nebuchadnezzar could see four men in the fire and became alarmed. Amazing what one’s conscience can tell us. Calling the three prisoners out of the fire all were astonished there was no evidence of fire or smoke upon their bodies. “Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrash, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.” Dan. 3:28. Yes, their own God! Babylon did not learn. Babylon did evil in Zion. Judgment came against her. She became a burnt mountain. Nations prepared war against her. Babylon became a desolation. Jer. 51: 24-29. And now Belshazzar, king of today’s shambles, here is a message from the most high God who rules in the kingdom of men. Look up from your feast of the gods of silver, gold, brass, iron, and wood and stone for SHADDAI, the Lord God of hosts hath written, MENE MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. “God hath numbered they kingdom and finished it. Thou art weighted in the balances and found wanting.” Thy kingdom is divided. See Dan. 5:22-28. “Behold, my anointed, my servant, mine elect in whom my soul delighteth: I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.” Isa. 42:1 & 45:1-3. These texts are referring to Cyrus the Persian.

Final Atonement The O.T. sanctuary pattern shows the high priest about to atone for the tabernacle of the congregation that remained among them, with the scapegoat waiting to bear the iniquities of all to the wilderness. But now that time has passed in the great archetype. The sixth angel has announced, “It is done.” Akin to a blueprint, the ancient tabernacle and service was a plan to demonstrate redemption of individual resolution and value. Once it is universally pronounced, “Babylon made all nations drunk with the wine of her fornication, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God which is poured out without mixture,” the O.T. purpose is consummated for good or evil. The blueprint becomes null and void. Therefore the archetype application of the priest will no longer (in graphic language) “take a censor full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before the Lord, and hands full of sweet incense beaten small 5

and bring it within the vail; and put the incense upon the fire...that the cloud of incense may cover the mercy seat that is upon the testimony.” For, it is done, the door of mercy has closed. The scapegoat is now the dragon, the beast and the false prophet. The hands of righteousness and peace will place judgment upon the three unclean spirits, collectively. John sees the angel of the golden altar take the censor, and fill it with fire, of the brazen altar, and cast it into the earth, a corrupted earth. And to repeat familiar words, “there were voices, and thundering, and lightnings and an earthquake.” Rev. 8:5. Decision-making time in regards to becoming a wholesome, generous, contributing person had ended in archetype in the Levitical temple service. The atonement for the tardy of the congregation completely justifies the faithful including “the tenth part” Rev. 11:13 upon whom the Light of understanding the mystery of God had alighted or fallen. Today those accepting a late pardon are not forgotten, joining the steadfast remnant. Now released from the curse of denominationalism, they may be very frightened, but give glory to the God of heaven. The temple now remains forever Melchisedec. Have you understood the message of the fourth angel?

The Seventh Angel’s Message – The Final Call to Come Out “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.” Rev. 18:4, 5. The O.T. warnings show the true prophets present a grave representation of an ultimate ending to the conditioning rule of the gods of this world. “Israel is a scattered sheep; the lions have driven him away: first the king of Assyria hath devoured him; And last his Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon hath broken his bones.” Jer. 50:17. Jerusalem is repeatedly a captive of Babylonian malediction. Having given up her covenant with the God of Creativity, the Almighty, their minds are sodden with lethargy. Babylon has gathered many enemies and she is about to be overtaken and completely collapse, never to rise again. Jer. 50:35-38. John the revelator, understanding the past models, visualizes a world-wide recurrence of ancient, but ever-present situations, constantly re-enacted. The last call to mankind is to answer the plea to allow the conscience to be enlivened. A call to follow the active creative instincts bestowed upon each one of us. O.T examples, already dwelt with many times, are forms, communicating nucleus, the genetic code, that develops and ultimately envelopes. The messenger wrote, “Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else, I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times, the things that are not yet done...” Isa. 46:9. This paper will consider the call to come out of dogma, hearsay, lies, distortions and deceptions. A call to think for ourselves. The two greatest enemies of Israel and Judah (besides being themselves) were Babylon and Greek/Seleucids. Texts concerning these two deceptive powers shall be briefly examined. Israel’s and Judah’s disinterested attitude towards whether such conduct is ethically right or wrong brought disaster upon them. The call is to avert such disaster. 6

Babylonian Days – The Calling to Come Out Firstly contemplate the words of both Jeremiah and Hosea towards the children of Israel. “Behold I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them; because I have spoken unto them but they have not heard. I have called them, but they have not answered.” Jer. 35:17. “Because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee.” Hosea 3:6. This is clear, “I have called them,” was made in Babylonian days. Today is tantamount to Babylonian. Jeremiah’s judgment against Babylon, “I have laid a snare for thee, and thou art also taken O Babylon, and thou wast not aware: thou art found, and also caught, because thou hast striven against the Lord.” Jer. 50:24. The snare was again set in Revelation. John’s snare is the least expected. Note, Jeremiah writing to the captives of Babylon. “For Israel hath not been forsaken, nor Judah of his God, of the Lord of hosts; though their land was filled with sin against the Holy One of Israel.” Jer. 51; 5. What should the children of Israel do? “Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the Lord’s vengeance; and he will render unto her recompense.” Jer. 51:6. The call is to flee, “flee out of the midst.”

Greek/Seleucid Days – The Calling to Come Out The Jews in the Greek days had not learned from the past when Antiochus Epiphanes, Greek/Seleucid leader persecuted innocent Jews and plundered their temple, apostate Jews aided and abetted him... Writing prophetically of this time, giving tang to the essence, Daniel explains: the rough goat he saw (Dan. 8:5) is the king of Grecia (Dan. 8:21). The great horn between his eyes (Dan. 8:5) is the first king (Dan. 8:21) Alexander. Daniel tells when Alexander died, Grecia split into four kingdoms (Dan. 8:22). And later in the kingdom a king of fierce countenance shall stand up (Dan. 8:23). And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power (Dan. 8:24). This king was Antiochus Epiphanes. For confirmation see 1 Macc. 1:1-10. It was not by his own power that he was successful; Antiochus Epiphanes had help from the Jewish defectors. “And and host was given him (Antiochus Epiphanes) against the daily sacrifice (a Jewish ritual) by reason of transgression, (Apostate Jews had transgressed against the Levitical law) (Dan. 8:12). They cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised and prospered (Dan. 8:12). Observing Hellenism was on the rise in the post exilic days, the prophet Isaiah wrote, “For thus saith the Lord, Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money. How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that brought good tidings, that publisheth peace;...that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, They God reigneth! Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing that bear the vessels of the Lord. Isa. 52:4, 7, 11. The call in the post-exilic times is to depart, “depart ye” – to come out.

New Testament Days – The Calling to Come Out New Testament days brought to question a cognate problem. A pauline missionary taught vacillating Corinthians, “What fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath 7

light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God...Wherefore come out from among them and be ye separate saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive you.” 2 Cor. 6:14-18. The call is to separate, “be ye separate,” to come out, touch no unclean thing! The cock has crowed thrice.

Revelation 18:5 – The Final Calling to Come Out John, the fugitive, sees over and over that Babylon’s sins have reached to the blameless. Ancient Israel’s punishment for her disbelief and rebellion towards equity brought Babylonian captivity. Amos 2:6 gives a clear picture in one verse of Israel’s dastardly immorality. “Israel I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes.” And Joel has much to say. These deeds were performed in the days of Grecian supremacy. “They have cast lots for my people; and given a boy for a harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.” “The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border,” Joel 3:3, 6. The story of redemption began in Genesis. It finalises in Revelation. Since the acquisition of possessions (personified as Cain in Genesis) has been the order-of-the-day, man has been a slave to avarice. This leads to struggles for might and power, over and over again, bewildering the heart. We have been captive of Babylonian habits for a long time. John sees much tribulation follows the final call. The path John paints is no easy road to travel. It is a grievous time for the self-sufficient and complacent. Judgment has come with the open book. It is also a time of reward for those who have served principle. Rise up ye women (life-givers). Accepting the blue-print with no outside interpretation, the mystery of God resolves – spiritual life resurrected to all who come out. Come out of deception my people. Behold a king shall reign in righteousness...see Isa. 32 -33. Ye mountains of Israel hear the word of innocence, “Because the enemy made you desolate and swallowed you up on every side, surely the heathen shall bear their shame. I will return unto you, and I will multiply you.” - see Eze. 34-36. The book ends in triumph, hope, accomplishment, with the heart and mind in restorative redemption. The faithful are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. In biblical figurative language, a new heaven and a new earth are presented. A description of the heavenly Jerusalem concludes the long story of the restoration of virtue, redeemed by the Creative tolerance and oneness of reconciliation. The story of the fall and salvation of mankind will be passed on to all generations forever.
