The Salary Theorem

Everyone knows the Salary Theorem… It establishes that engineers and scientists can NEVER earn as much money as businessmen, bosses and salesmen

This theorem can be demonstrated by reducing it to a simple mathematical equation:

The equation rest on two postulates: •Postulate No 1: Knowledge is Power •Postulate No 2: Time is Money

Every engineer knows the basic relationship between work, power and time: Work = Power * Time According to the postulates: Knowledge = Power and Time = Money So we substitute and

Therefore, by simple math: Money = Work / Knowledge • So when Knowledge goes towards zero, Money goes towards infinity, regardless of the value attributed to work, even if the value of work is very small. • In the inverse, when Knowledge goes towards infinity, Money goes towards

The inevitable conclusion: The less you know, the more money you make

Those of you who had difficulty following this presentation must make a lot of Money
