The police chief told him that now he could solve murder assassinates in New York. Ichabod and Katrina got married and adopted Young. One day at night a crime was committed in Central Park, the body of the victim appeared in the lake without head. Then the chief of the police informed about this to Ichabod and this took the body to his house, to continue investigating. Ichabod saw that the body had been murdered with a clear cut on the neck like to the murders of Sleepy Hollow. He showed the body to his wife, Katrina. She told them it was her step brother, Lady Van Tassel, because she had the same mark at the hand that they did to bee blood sister when they‘re little. A man, who walked every night near the lake, warned Ichabod that until he found the body would hear strange noises near the lake. Another day in the middle of the night they went to the lake to investigate the case and suddenly hear a noise coming from the water and they saw that it was the headless horseman, who came out of the water coming from dead’s world and they ran to the forest. While Katrina was sleeping and had a nightmare, where there was the headless horseman with bad intentions for the family Crane. Then she did a spell recording the magic of her mother which was do kill the persons from the dead’s world. The headless horseman was about to cut their heads, but suddenly disappeared duty the spell done by Katrina. They didn’t believe it. After this event Ichabod abandoned his work and opened a shop in the centre of New York with his wife and then Young go to the university to study the same job as his father, to be a detective.
