Ranking in the World • The Pakistan Army, combined with the Navy and Air Force, makes Pakistan's armed forces the 6th largest military in the world. • It has an active force of 650,000 personnel and 528,000 men in reserve.

Motto • Motto of the Pakistani Army reads: "Iman, Taqwa, Jihad fi Sabilillah". Translated into English, it means "Faith, Piety, to strive in the path of Allah putting aside all your physical needs

Organisation • administrative, and operational. • Operationally the Pakistan Army is divided in 10 Corps. • Administratively it is divided in different regiments (details below). • The General Headquarter (GHQ) of Pakistan Army is located in the garrison city of Rawalpindi in Punjab. • It is planned to be moved to the capital city of Islamabad.
