The news nowadays is not good to those who still want to believe in common sense and down-to-earth behaviour. A man who wants to up the tempo in Afghanistan where a human's life has less value than a motorbike or beat-up car gets the Peace Prize as a reward. By the way, Gitmo is still operating and reports leaking out are suggesting that torture is still being practised inside it. Next year, Timothy Geithner should get the Economics Prize and a candidate for the Peace Prize could be the Governor of California. Or perhaps the Director of state prisons in California. US politicians have received the Prize through Gore (in 2007) and Obama, but the country, very strangely has the highest total number of crime cases in the world. The US is surely a very violent nation. There are around on average about 3,980 acts of crime for every 100,000 people in the US. Thus the country registers about 11.9 million crime cases every year. The actual figures are most likely very, very much higher. US society is indeed a very brutal society, yet the politicians can easily get awarded with the Prize. The US has very unhesitatingly trashed and wrecked other nations without even a tiny bit of remorse or pity whenever its anger or emotion got even a little bit aroused. Millions of people got slaughtered and carnaged for little or no reason and this kind of behaviour had earlier been extended to the people inside the US itself. In fact, it is stil going on inside the US today. So much for the Prize or the significance of it. Homicides and murders and extrajudicial killings were carried out within the US in great numbers especially in the southern states in the past and today such inhuman acts are still very fashionable for this particular country which so easily received the Prize. Such acts have even been extended to the insides of US jails and prisons. Jail inmates often continue to kill one another inside the jails even after much bloodletting had already been carried out earlier in the streets. Some of them were encouraged by the jail wardens while in other areas, wardens often participated in such orgies. The US prisons system is one of the worst in the world today and the system in California has been acknowledged to be the most brutal of all. The Prize is beckoning right now for California ! California, due to its size and proximity to Mexico and Latin America has some of the worst crime happenings in the developed world. This horrible crime situation even extends to the interior of the penal system of the state. Jails there are typically very overcrowded and the inmates are ruled by not just the wardens but also very unavoidably by various prison gangs that operate in a most entrenched and sophisticatedly developed manner in all the prison facilities of California. Prison wardens there are also very suspect and many are known to behave just like criminals themselves. Often, prisoners or inmates, are made to serve the lusts of these wardens and those who refuse to coperate are punished in various ways like receiving beatings,
forced to endure food and rest deprivation or they are deliberatedly left in the company of aggressive prison inmates and 'pointed out' by the warden or wardens. Such methods include spreading remarks about their background or nature of their offences to induce cruel physical brutality to be inflicted upon them. Perhaps that was what caused the prison population in the state to group themselves into racial gangs. Such gangs are very widespread not only in California but in other states as well. But in California, there are black gangs, white gangs, Latino gangs and a wide assortment of other types that are not seen eleswhere. These gangs often fight with one another when they are not busy dealing with drugs, gambling, smuggling and other illegal activities. Often, these gangs hand out contracts to kill people, including those who had already been released and freed. These prison gangs in the US are always able to reach out to their outside accomplices and as such, US society now ranks as among the most unsafe and most dangerous in the world. Another Prize for its polticians please! Meanwhile, the illegal detention camps like Guantanamo are still in operation and the latest reports have alleged that physical brutality is still being carried out on the detainees inside. Harsh punishment is still being dished out including forced feeding while being held down by guards. Yet, the criminal and evil perpetrators have never been identified or even taken away for the sake of the detainees. Their world is one that is totally alien to us. One that is filled with despair, pain and immense and inhuman suffering. And so, another Prize to the politicians, please. Half a world away in Pakistan, people are so desperate that they are making and sewing suicide jackets by the basketloads. And it is all due to the uncertainty and hopelessness caused by the US invasion of its neighbouring country. The border areas are now crawling with men wearing long beards and carrying assault rifles and there is no other way out. Everyone has to follow the crowd and the crowd is demanding suicide jackets. And they want them by the basketloads. US politicians are fully responsible for this mess. The US, guided by its dark evil nature is forcing Pakistan to walk down the same road as that taken by Somalia, Iraq and Afghanistan. The latest news is that they want to increase the pace of excitement there and are sending extra troops to Kabul. So, more Prizes for the US politicians, please. Yet, these same politicians are so very fond of going on tours and visits here and there, polluting the air and making pompous speeches and also offering empty promises and uttering big imposing words. Now we know why the world today is in such serious deep shit. Another Prize please. Timothy should be the natural choice for the Economics award. The 1.4 trillion mess could eventually sink the world in the near future and the Prize should be given out as early as possible, next year would be real nice. Nobel hypocrisy should be turned into a modern religion. The world today is truly swimming in a sea of hypocrisy and virtually everyone is wishing to take a dip in it. Only a handful have been reluctant to participate and they have been singled out for physical harm including being hit by crippling sanctions or outright military invasion. What was previously wrong and unacceptable has become right
and acceptable and what was good previously has now become bad. In another hundred or two hundred years from now, people will be heard saying: 'I am marrying my horse tomorrow' or 'I am marrying my female pet dog today in church' and no one would be expected to raise any kind of objection. This is the scenario the world is heading for in the distant or not too distant future as a consequence of today's hypocrisy. Keep the Prizes coming, please !! Keep them coming !!
