Hi All We are pleased to invite you to attend the upcoming MSC Malaysia InnoTech: Ideas Launchpad – Penang 09. Jointly organized between the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) and the New Entrepreneur Forum (NEF), the purpose of this joint event is to equip new start-ups, business decision makers, and implementers with a wide range of skills and new ideas on adoption of Web 2.0 technologies as well as training on best practices in approaching further funding for ones business. This exclusive event is by invitation only. Entry is free to all invited participants* *limited to the first 100 registered guest

The event is divided into 2 main components (one day each)

The first day – Netbash consists of activities such as hands-on-training for emerging Web 2.0 tools. Learn how to use twitter as a powerful marketing tool, facebook as a communication hub and save time through collaborate tools such as Google docs and etc. Come hone your skills and get a fresh look at using these everyday tools to put a new spin on how you communicate with the world and how the world communicates back. To further drive the message that web 2.0 isn’t just some gimmicky catch phrase there will be a presentation by businesses that have already adopted these practice into their fold and are enjoying the benefits. On the second day – MSC Malaysia InnoTech: Ideas Launchpad participants will get a chance to explore the intricacies of pitching their business. Find out how to condense your whole business pitch in 55 seconds and then get a chance to try your new found “Elevator Pitch” on our team of seasoned experts (CEO’s of various multinational companies) take the opportunity to network and get a stronger command of your pitching skills. Stand a chance to pitch your business to Venture Capitalist’s (CV’s) by uploading your “Video Pitch” on our website , top 8 standout pitches selected will be given the opportunity to have a session with our panel of VC’s for the possibility of seeking further funding. th MDeC will be conducting a Pitching Workshop on the 11 of March 2009 at the Penang Development Corporation (PDC), More details below.
