The lonesome sky dropped its tears And the mountains accepted them. The denizens of the earth Asked no questions. Even when thunderous storm Screamed out its anger. Even when flashes of lightning Lashed out its fury. The mountainsides eroded. The river banks were flooded. Trees and flowers were torn. Mankind is dejected. The lonesome sky calmed down, The clouds parted, the sun emerged. The denizens of the earth, Silently picked up the broken pieces. Mankind restored their dwellings. Trees and flowers replanted by earthlings. The shining sun dried up the flood, Returning the water back to the sky.
These water that caused harm, Were vaporized with a gentle caress. Sending the heat that was sent on earth, Through the humidity of the dark cloud formation, Back to the lonesome sky With equal fervor yet indifferent expression. 3/11/2016 12:41 PM
