THE FIRST DAYS OF MY PRESIDENT While we clothe our pupils with hope and Linings in the shame of our past. And pro-pro -product……….., pronouncing The development that we may achieve as a nation. Looking forward to how much we could loan A billion! To support our stunted budget in Despair. A humble leader said without arrogance My people, people troubled with pain and Despair. That our oil fields could not reduce the cost of Journey. But we could hasten to add that our are little b’cos our economy
Worries
Eco-mi-ny is resilient So elastic to bread our hope again in the Memories of Malaprope b’cos our Eco-mi-ny! Eco-mi-ny! Eco-mi-ny! Is doing well But the manifesto was mentioned in the Budget only for a few times That even though we are encouraged Notinto panic, He who encouraged us is in despair Than the future that our pupils without Uniform have. Did you notice the words: panic, despair Economy, Eco-mi-ny! Pro-pro-Product…pronouncing! It is only Madam speakerwho could stop the Laughter. But as me make mockery of he who rules, It must be done such that he may rule well. He who disagree, tell me if you never made A mistake. Commentary: In our quest to criticize, we must do this cautiously without mockery. The president is like us and could also make mistakes.
The delivery of The State of the Nations Address is like any ordinary speech which has its own importance. I think the import of the Address is what we must be looking at but not the mistakes. The president exposed his challenges from stage fright to managing the growth of his economy. Parliament was thrown into laughter as well as the whole nation. People did not take time to look at the import of his speech but only wasted valuable time to banter and laugh at the flaws in the speech. Kopyright @ 2009.
