The Picker/Opener teases out entanglements and blends the fiber to give consistency in further processing. Blending of fiber types and colours can easliy be accomplished at this stage giving a complete homogeneous blend. The fiber is thrown into a collection room where conditioning oils are applied.

Specifications: Size: 72” long X 34” wide X 62” high Electrical: 110 VAC, 10 AMP

The function of the Draw Frame is to create a roving consistent in size over its entire length. The draw frame blends multiple rovings into one fiber stream and uses controlled drafting to size the output roving. Multiple passes through the draw frame results in strong, uniform roving of a size that can be easily managed at the spinner. Blending at this stage can create very unique end products. The Spinners draw in rovings and direct them through a controlled drafting system, o consistent fiber stream. This fiber stream is then twisted into a finished single of yarn Draft, twist per inch and other production values and easily changed and constantly m Both the 4 and 8 Spindle Spinners can be adapted to ply the finished singles into mu exciting effects can be created at this stage. Specifications: Size: 60” long, X 26” wide, X 52” high Electrical: 8 AMP, 110 VAC

The Skein Winder produces a two yard o which the skein is built, tension at which desired yarn or meter count is reached. Specifications: Size: 60” Electrical: 110 VAC, 8 AMP

The Felt Maker creates a 36” x 48” felt pad in min are only limited by ones imagination. A great way t unit but is most often found in a Mini Mill configurat Specifications: Size: 63” long, Electrical: 110 VAC, 7.5 AMP

During the steaming process the plyed yarn is drawn through the steamer by eithe the Cone Winder or Skein Winder. While under slight tension the yarn is draw through a steam filled chamber and then a drying tube. This process sets the twist Any tensions that are built into the yarn during the spinning or plying processes are evened out during steaming. Yarn passed through the Cone Winder is metered, waxed if desire and wound The speed at which the cone is built, tension at which the yarn is applied and yarn on each cone in yards or meters can be preset. The Cone Winder auto stops when the desired amount of yarn has been wound. Specifications: Size: 35” long, Electrical: 110 VAC, 8 AMP

This machine gently separates unwanted coarse guard hair, vegetable matter and other contamination from fine fiber. The unwanted materials are collected in chambers underneath while the prime fiber is discharged from the output end. This machine is optional dependent on the fiber being processed and the required finished product. Specifications: Size: 120” long, X Electrical: 110 VAC, 10 AMP (x2)

Float Syste Electrical Panel The Sink Drum The fiber washer will wash up to 20 pounds of fiber in a single operation, over a two or three hour period, depending on the number of cycles chosen. Up to three types and or colours of fiber can be cleaned at the same time. The integrated recycling system allows reuse of approximately 40% of your water. The fiber washer can be used as a centrifuge or to rinse or wash finished goods. Specifications: Size: 96” long, X 48” wide, X 56” high (washer & recycler) Electrical: Washer - 10 AMP, Recycler - 15 AMP, 110 VAC Minimum Water Supply: 2 2/3us gal/min Minimum Hot Water Recovery Rate: 80us gal/hour @ 130deg F Hook Up: Standard laundry washer supply and drain

The Ball Winder creates center-pull balls of finished yarn. Size of the finished ball, tension of the yarn and the lay pattern of the yarn are all adjustable. The finished balls ship and display very well. Specifications: Size: 41” long, X 30” Electrical: 110 VAC, 8 AMP
