The Catholic Archive Society Annual Conference (2009) Ushaw College, Durham
The Catholic Archive Society meets for its Annual Conference at Ushaw College, Durham this year. Speakers include Iris Jones on the archives of the Venerable English College, Rome; Dr. Simon P. Johnson on the archives of the English College at Lisbon (with a tour of the Lisbon Collection Archive provided by Dr. Michael Sharratt, Ushaw College) and a paper given by Abbot Zielinski, VicePresident of the Pontifical Commission for the Cultural Heritage of the Church. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in the cultural heritage of the English Catholic Church at home and abroad to learn more about the resources available to those who wish to discover more about the English Catholic Church and its cultural, political and social interaction with Europe.
