THE MESSAGE: • The next part of the Nicene Creed is “... and of all things visible and invisible ...” Let’s talk a little about the visible and invisible things God made. What does visible and invisible mean? (Seen and cannot be seen) God created all things that can be seen. He created

also many other things that we cannot see - the trillions of stars in outer space along with the angels and archangels. All were created by God. Name things that God made that are visible. Name things that God made that are invisible. List the things under the following headings T H A N K Y O U G O D ! but without the titles. Have the kids guess the sentiment ... •

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. We celebrate to give thanks to God for all that He has given us. We’re going to go around the room and say what we are thankful for. I’ll go first. (Children will reflect on their life and how they are thankful for the things in which God provides.) “I am Thankful Because:”

THE ACTIVITY: Turkey Scene Draw an outline of your hand. On the outline of your thumb, draw eyes, a beak, and a gobbler – this becomes the turkey’s head. The other fingers will be turkey feathers. Use crayons or construction paper to decorate your turkey and make it colourful. Write the following verse at the bottom of the page. "I made a little turkey so everyone can see that I am very thankful that God's been so good to me." •

"I Made a Little Turkey" : Handprint

CLOSING PRAYER: More honorable than the Cherubim, and more glorious beyond compare than the Seraphim. Who without corruption you gave birth to God the Word. Truly Theotokos, we magnify you.

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
