TEXAS TEACHER STaR CHART
The Texas Teacher Star Chart was developed around the four key areas of the Long-Range Plan for Technology. STaR is the acronym for School Technology and Readiness.
CAMPUS STaR CHART
The Campus STaR Chart is a tool designed for use in technology planning, budgeting for resources, and evaluation of progress in local technology projects. Texas teachers use the profile to annually gauge their progress in integrating technology into the school.
MANDATE
All applications for state-funded technology grants require a completed campus or district Texas STaR Chart profile.
PROGRESS LEVELS
The profile indicators place your campus at one of four levels of progress: Early Tech Developing Tech Advanced Tech Target Tech
REPORTS
Statewide reports are used to report progress toward fulfilling the requirements in No Child Left Behind, Title II, Part D. Reports may be organized by district, ESC region, legislative district, or campus type. Data is currently available from the Texas Campus STaR Charts completed in 2004, 2005, and 2006.
