CLIMATE The climate in a temperate desert is very dry with not very much precipitation and hot days and often very cold nights.
ANIMALS The temperate desert has a variety of different animals including different types of mammals, birds and reptiles.
WEATHER In a temperate desert it is often sunny and hot with little rain or snow and very hot summers and usualy freezing cold winters.

There are many different types of plants in the temperate desert like.
Adaptations Some animals have fur the sheds in the summer and then thickens for the winter. Reptiles have scales to protect them from the radiation of the sun.
