I am a recent graduate of the University of Phoenix Online, where I completed a MA in Secondary Education and earned a 4.0 GPA. In the Fall of 2008 I completed a three month-long student teaching experience at Benson Polytechnic High School. During this time I taught freshman English, journalism and sophomore radio broadcasting classes. The position helped me to realize my love for teaching students in an urban setting. I am enthusiastic, organized, have a solid work ethic and am quick to build rapport with colleagues and students.
