SPECIALIZED EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES Because Oakbridge Academy of Arts is After a considerable amount of time, research, and planning, Oakbridge received licensing by the Department of Education, State Board Private Licensed Schools on February 25, 1972. Shortly thereafter on March 13, 1972, the first students enrolled in the school (then, the Art Institute of New Kensington). These seven students were the start of a new idea in the New Kensington area. Since then, our school has acquired more space, teachers, students, ideas and concepts that make Oakbridge an integral part of our community. In May of 1995, Oakbridge went through a change of ownership. Oakbridge is now owned by the Nicolette Monet Corporation. In January 1998 the school expanded its campus to include 1250 and 945 Greensburg Rd., Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania.

comparatively a small school, our instructors have the time to offer individual instruction to each student when necessary. This is most beneficial to a student who would be lost in the environment of a very large class, and helps the student progress at a rate most suitable to him/her as an individual.
