YHS Presents: “SO YOU THINK YOU GOT TALENT” Talent Show
YHS Talent Show Terms & Policies Please read ALL of the following statements carefully: I (solo act)/We (group act), agree that IF I/we become a fnalist/fnalists in the YHS Talent Show, but for any reason can no longer partcipate in the fnal event on January 19 th, 2010, that: 1. I/We will pay a fne of $10 (for solo acts)/$20 (for group acts) in cash to York House School to recoup for the inconvenience caused and for YHS to fnd a replacement for me/us. 2. I/We will notfy YHS by email at least 2 weeks prior to the fnal event on January 19th, 2010, of my/our absence. The only exceptons that we will make regarding the reason for a fnalist's absence is: A. Any major sickness/physical injuries that will hinder you or your group from partcipatng B. An important, upcoming event that was unexpectedly scheduled on the same day and at the same tme as the Talent Show fnal event (January 19 th, 2010; 7-9 PM) and that you or any of your group members must atend. • If A or B does become applicable to you, then you are exempt from paying the fnes and you must also agree to the following: 3. My/one of our parents will call 604-876-5886 to vouch for (A) my sickness/physical injury OR (B) my upcoming event that I must atend. If you AGREE to statements 1, 2 and 3, then please check the box on the Online Applicaton Form. If you DISAGREE, you CANNOT auditon for the talent show. • Note: You DO NOT need to pay $20 to auditon (in case you're confused). These policies are solely for the purpose of preventng fnalists from dropping out of the talent show last minute without notfying YHS or giving YHS weak reasons for dropping out (i.e. "I don't feel like being in the talent show anymore,” etc.)
