She was a former flight attendant for US Airlines. On September 11, 2001, she was to fly from New York, La Guardia Airport on US Airlines flight 147, to Charlotte, North Carolina at 9:00 a.m. She boarded the plane, sitting in 8-F, and noticed two middle eastern males sit on the row in front of her, seats 7D and 7-F. The UNSUBS were dressed in shirt and slacks, no further description available. At the time these two unknown males drew her attention because they kept looking toward the back of the plane and appeared nervous. One UNSUB was carrying a camera no further description was available. As the plane taxied out to runway, the UNSUBS got up and moved to the empty exit row behind her, row 9, seats 0, E, F. At that time the plane was stopped from taking off and it returned to the terminal due to the World Trade Center being bombed. She did not pay any further attention to the two males, but since finding out about the circumstances surrounding the hijackings on September 11, she wanted to report the suspicious behavior of the UNSUBS.

His agitation was later verbally expressed when said out loud VA FONGULA PHONETIC. Jonas recalls hearing such an expression before, but could not immediately remember the circumstances under which she heard it. After reflecting for several minutes, she recalled having a Moroccan friend who often use a similar expression. Jonas advised that her friend told her it meant "FUCK YOU" in Arabic.

Jonas related that at approximately 9:05 a.m., an airline representative announced the boarding of the flight. As passengers started making their way toward the gate attendant, she noticed that UNSUB1 picked his leather like duffle bag up and departed from the gate area. Jonas thought this was odd, because it appeared that UNSUB1 was anxious to get on the airplane. After boarding the airplane and finding her seat, Jonas and the rest of the passengers were informed, through the airplanes intercom system, about the World Trade Center explosions. All the passengers immediately became concerned, but she noticed one passenger UNSUB2 in particular, because he was very loud with his
