Exhibit Kl 17: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Passport No. C165015 in the name of ABDULAZIZ Afi OMAJU. FINDINGS Microscopic, instrumental and comparative examination of the above-described evidence resulted in the following findings: 1. Exhibit Q169 was received in a worn and soiled condition, emitting a strong odor akin to petroleum products. The presence of wrinkled pages and inks that have bled throughout the passport can be attributed to exposure to moisture/solvents. 2. Exhibit Q169 is genuine. The passport conforms to comparable genuine Saudi Arabian passports on file in the INS/FDL reference collection. An examination of Exhibit Q169 did not reveal any physical evidence of page substitution, photograph substitution or biographical data alteration. 3. The U.S. Machine Readable Visa (MRV) on page 13 of Exhibit Q169 is genuine. The MRV conforms to comparable genuine specimens on file. An examination of the MRV did not reveal any physical evidence of alteration. 4. The Schengen Visa on page 11 of Exhibit Q169 is genuine. The Visa conforms to comparable genuine specimens on file. An examination of the Visa did not reveal any physical evidence of alteration. 5. Due to the extent of moisture damage, the U.S. admission stamp impression on page 12 of Exhibit Q169 is illegible; therefore a proper comparative examination cannot be conducted.

Hasson is from Saudi Arabia and currently is in the,. United States under a student visa, number! I'He is a student at the University of Colorado, Denver Extension, where he is taking course work in electrical engineering. One of his instructors is Michael Nauka and Hasson is aware that Nauka contacted FBI Denver regarding a conversation which occurred between Hasson and Nauka. Hasson explained however that Nauka misunderstood their conversation regarding an Arabic student who was a friend of Hasson's and reportedly had the same name as one of the terrorist. A few years ago, this friend lost or had his passport and identification papers stolen. It was this version of the story that Nauka presented to FBI Denver. Hasson corrected Nauka's version of what transpired by first explaining that the conversation in question occurred on the first Monday after the September 11, 2001, incident. On that date, September 17, 2001, Hasson and another fellow Arabic student, Majed Hassoun, were in their electronic laboratory class when they were approached by Nauka, who was their instructor. Nauka simply asked Hasson and Hassoun how things were going for them since the September 11, 2001, incident. Their response led to a general discussion about the tragedy and, at one point during their discussion, it was Majed Hassoun who mentioned that one of the subjects was a former student at their university. Majed Hassoun identified this individual as Abdul Aziz AJ Omari and further pointed out that Al Omari was enrolled into the electrical engineering department and graduated in May 2000. Hasson was of the belief that Majed Hassoun was also a student at that time and possibly was a friend of Al Omari. Hasson also explained that, during the course of their conversation, Majed Hassoun mentioned he was watching an Arabic newscast known as Aljaveera, which carried a news broadcast on Al 9/25/01

Omari. Hasson explained that any home satellite dish can be directed or otherwise programed to pick up broadcasts from Saudi Arabia. Aljaveera is the equivalent to CNN, but it broadcasts in the Arabic language and covers events relevant to Saudi Arabia. During one of their newscasts, they interviewed A] Omari. who

Hasson stated he knew nothing more about At Omari except what was stated by Majed Hassoun. Upon request. Hasson provided Majed Hassoun's telephone number asl I Hasson further expressed a belief that Majed Hassoun would be willing to speak to authorities on this matter.

These students must have and F1 Visa and have an I-20 INS form. Ahmed has been keeping copies of passports and l-20's since approximately 1998. NAU I requires a GED for its students.
