Student Learning Outcomes: • You will be able to describe the services offered at the DMV as well as be able to identify roadside signs and traffic signals. Passing will be 11 out of 21. • You will be able to show your listening ability by correctly answering at least 12 out of 20 listening comprehension questions. Mission

Course Description: In this class you will spend most of your time listening and speaking English and some time reading and writing. You will learn English grammar basics, vocabulary, pronunciation, computer, and life skills. Course Objective: By the end of this course you will have learned enough vocabulary and grammar skills to be able to communicate with basic English phrases through speaking and writing. You will be able to recognize and respond to simple questions, give personal information, and ask simple questions of your own. Important Dates: August 28 - Friday
