BIOGRAPHY Susan Murray is a veteran actress who has worked at the New York Shakespeare Festival, The Public Theatre, Pan Asian Repertory Company, Theatre Works, Second Stage and countless Chicago comedy clubs, including, Link’s Hall, Boombala’s, Orphans, and Second City. Susan has written, performed, and produced original material at theatres and nightclubs in New York, Chicago and Miami. She has worked with Diane Burroughs, Kelly Magillis, Bill Hicky, Barbara Barrie, Mary Beth Hurt, Vince Gardenia, Marcia Mason, Betty Buckley, Rusty Schwimmer, and Cheryl Hamada, to name a few. Susan trained at the National Shakespeare Conservatory in Manhattan, and studied with renowned acting teacher Uta Hagen. In South Florida, she has performed at the Colony Theatre, Area Stage, The Bass Museum, Miami Art Museum, Acme Theatre, Joseph Caleb Auditorium, Stephen Talkhouse and Lincoln Road's Stella Blue. Susan has opened for people such as Nil Lara, Natural Causes, The Mavericks, Judy Tenuta, and Bonnie Hunt. She has been interviewed on WDNA, Channel 17, Channel 2,and WLRN. For the past 15 years, Susan has been in Miami performing, teaching acting, and creating art programs such as comedy improvisation workshops for all population groups, children, teens, adults, and special needs.
