When looking for the answer to a question, use the following steps: 1.) Consult this guide. 2.) Use the SEARCH feature. 3.) Make a thread. 90% of the time, you can answer your own question before getting to step 3. Now, for the point of this guide. What is maplestory? Maplestory is a 2D side scrolling MMORPG. You can explore a totally new and unknown world you have never been to, put on beautiful clothes and gorgeous accessories, and even attract other users in the process. You may begin the journey to explore the world of unknown alone, but you may come out on the other end with numerous new friends through hunting and chatting. If you're tired of hunting and competition, how about playing minigames with a friend for a change? You'll become a brave adventurer protecting the Maple World, and if you're exhausted from all the intense battles and competition, you may one day build your own house at a

quiet rural village, enjoying the life of a recluse who welcomes visitors. At Maple Island, you will learn from the NPC's simple hunting skills and basic control of the game to help you ease into the game. Then, you'll board the ship that heads to Victoria Island, and that's where your journey REALLY begins. From Lith Harbor that welcomes you from a long journey from Maple Island, you'll run into such fascinating towns as Henesys - the village of bowmen with comfy mushroomshaped houses gathered together; Ellinia - the village of magicians with mysterious spells embedded between tall trees; Perion - the village of warriors with the fighting spirit typical of the Indians living in highlands; and Kerning City - the village of thieves that reminds you of the back alleys of dark cities. You'll be playing the game at Victoria Island where all these diverse and unique towns and fields coexist. Here, you are going to be just a regular gamer hunting down monsters and protecting yourself in the process. You'll be given 4 paths to choose from, 4 that will define your life in MapleStory: Warrior, Bowman, Thief, and Magician. Through leveling up and meeting some requirements, you'll be able to make job advancements and nurture your character in your own, unique way. Does fame affect drop rates? NO. Fame does not affect drop rates. Fame allows you to wear certain dark equips and do certain quests. Drop rates are completely RANDOM. At what level can I make the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd job advancements? At lvl 8, you can make the job advancement as a mage. Or, you can wait and make the job advancement at lvl 10 to become a thief, warrior, or bowman. At lvl 30, all classes can make the 2nd job advancement, and at lvl 70, they can make the 3rd job advancement. OMS/GMS-official maplestory/global maplestory KMS-korean maplestory JMS-japanese maplestory CMS-chinese maplestory What are the websites for the different versions of MS? The Cash Shop is a place to buy various types of items that you would not be able to

acquire through killing monsters. Although our Cash Shop service is not yet ready, you can check out what kind of items will be available in the near future. As the name indicates, you will need real money to buy items from the Cash Shop. How can I tell if someone is a REAL GM? Don't be fooled by the people with ign's similar to a Gm's. If they ever chat invite you, be aware that they are trying to scam you. A REAL gm will NEVER ask for your login information. They wear a white hat with an M on it, carry a briefcase, and have a glowing GM symbol over there heads. If a person is impersonating a GM, report them! What is fame? Fame is a miscellaneous stat that allows you to wear certain dark equips (after lvl 30), along with the ability to do some quests. To fame someone, right click them and click the up arrow next to there fame. You can only fame once a day, and you can fame the same person only once a month. The samer works for defame. How do I change my security pin? To change your Security Pin, you must run MapleStory Client. First, type in your Login ID and password. Click Login You will get a pop up. 1. "Please Enter your Security Pin. (4 digit number)" When this message pops up, click any key on your keyboard except ESC, F1 to F12, or Enter. 2. A Soft Keyboard will pop up. Please press your Security Pin that you have assigned for your specific account. Click Change Pin. The Procedure follows same as Registering a Security Pin for the first time. If you need an instruction, please read the question "How do I get a Security Pin?" Please keep in mind that changing your Security Pin is impossible if you do not remember your current one. I forgot my security pin! How do I get it back? E-mail wizet and include as much information as possible about your account, in order to verify that you are the owner of it. Include your last name, birthday, names of chars, lvls, jobs, etc.

[Tutorial] JMS Registration Guide Tools: Internet Access Brain

Procedure: Step 1: first go to the nexon site(p.s make sure its in internet explorer) Step 2: Follow the image and click the signup button!

Step 3:Your Now at the Signup Page Follow The Image to Fill it out

Step 4: when you complete the form press the accept button shown below

Step 5: after pressing accept you must verify the information

Step 6: After you signed up click this icon on the left hand side.

Step 7: Once on the maplestory site click this button on the left.

Step 8: you will now be at the terms page click okay to continue

Step 9: Click the button i listed as pick me to continue on.

Step 10: fill out the form and be sure to verify the login.

Once you have a good login press okay with the rest of the form filled and there you go people now you have a Jms login. 6. The remainder of the process is pretty simple as it is part english, part japanese. Don't ask me why they did it that way, they just did it. Procedure: 1st Go to your Control Panel 2nd Click on "Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options"

3rd Now click on "Regional and Language options"

4th Set your regional option to Japanese

5th Click on the "ADVANCED" tab and choose Japanese.

[Tutorial] 3rd Job Advancement Guide (lvl 70)

Tools: Brain MapleStory Procedure: 3rd Job Advancement Location: El Nath

Procedure: 1. Find your 3rd Job Instructor the snow town of El Nath(Within Ossyria) and talk to him. He'll state that in order for you to advance, you would need to prove yourself by obtaining two items: A Necklace of Courage and a Necklace of Wisdom. Your 3rd Job Instructor will give you a hint that the Necklace of Courage can be obtained from your 1st/2nd Job Instructor. 2. So off you go, taking the flying ship back to Victoria Island and making your way back to your Hometown. Meet with your 1st/2nd Job Instructor and they will then tell you to obtain a Dark Scroll. This scroll can be acquired by travelling into another dimension (Door of Dimension) and defeating their Dark Counterpart. 3. Note that different classes have different Dimension Portals. I forgot which portal is for which class and where they are, but anyway, go to the Door and enter.

Defeat your Evil 1st/2nd Job Instructor.

Once the Dark Scroll is obtained, click on the Light Crystal at the end of the passage to return to your Hometown. 4. Talk to your 1st/2nd Job Instructor and he will give you the Necklace of Courage in exchange for the Dark Scroll.

5. Take the ship back to Ossyria and show the Necklace of Courage to your 3rd Job Instructor in El Nath. He will then tell you to obtain the Necklace of Wisdom by passing a wisdom test which is given by the Holy Obelisk deep in the Snowfields of El Nath.

6. Go to the Holy Obelisk.

7. Make sure you have at least 1 Refined Dark Crystal. Click on the Holy Obelisk to answer the 5 questions required to pass the test. The questions are relatively simple. All 5 questions would have to be answered correctly to pass. If any question is answered incorrectly, the whole test would need to be redone, and another refined Dark Crystal will be needed. 8. If all questions are answered correctly, you will obtain the Necklace of Wisdom.

[Tutorial] How to make MS Movies Tools: Fraps Sony Vegas Procedure: Seems like people are still using my old guide. Everyone please use this guide when making movies for now on. Mods please sticky this. I reposted because it seemed as though my last post was forgotten. Hey everyone, I've found a new way to make MS movies so heres the new guide.

Couple things first: 1. This guide will teach you how to make a movie with great quality, however the size will be somewhat larger then a movie made using Windows Movie Maker. 2. I will not post cracks for the programs needed. Ask around or find them yourself. 3. I take 100% credit for this guide. Programs needed: -Fraps -Sony Vegas Once these 2 programs are installed we can continue. Heres what your fraps settings should look like.

To record sound with fraps is up to you. Once you have all your videos, your going to use Vegas to put them together, add music,

effects, etc,. Follow these steps to saving your movie correctly. File> Render As

Now click Custom.

Note: You guys can alter these settings if you want. However, if you dont know what your doing I recommend you stick with these settings. If anyone has problems getting Fraps to run I cannot help you. Ask someone on here or google it. A very good quest that can be do OVER AND OVER AGAIN...... Level needed for pq? level 21===>30 Whats Is The Exp given PER PQ? 8%=======>12% Time Limited For A PQ 30 mins.... Lets Talk About The Stages In A PARTY QUEST(PQ) STAGE ONE Step By Step PQing... 1.Walk to the right of the map and talk to Cloto. 2.Cloto will ask you a question and you have to answer it by collecting the exact amount of coupons for the question. The Question that Cloto will asked and the Answer: Level to become Magician (8 coupons) Level to become other job (10 coupons) DEX needed to become a thief or an archer (25 coupons) STR needed to become a warrior (35 coupons) INT needed to become a magician (20 coupons) EXP needed from level 1 to level 2 (15 coupons) After completing this.... *IF YOU ARE THE LEADER Claim 3 pass From your PartyMate and Talk to Cloto and ur party may advance to second Stage. 2nd stage To Party member: The party members should climb on each vine. To Party Leader: the party leader should stand aside and click Cloto till you get the right combination. If the combination is wrong, try the other combination by asking one of the party members to climb the other empty vine. Keep trying until you get the correct combination. Once you have the right combination, the portal will be opened for the next stage. 3rd Stage This level is another combination with 5 platforms (1 kitten as platform 1, 2 kittens as platform 2, and so on) TO Party member: The party members should get on the platform To party Leader: The party leader should stand aside and click Cloto till you get the correct combination. I recommended you to do it in a in numerical order Here are the numbers: 1-2-3, 1-2-4, 1-2-5, 1-3-4, 1-3-5, 1-4-5, 2-3-4, 2-3-5, 2-4-5, 3-4-5 Keep trying the recommended combinations in numerical order till you get the correct combination. Once you get the correct combination, the portal will be opened for the next stage. Stage 4 This level is another combination with 6 platform barrels. Climb up all the way and you will see the platform barrels. To party members: The party members should get on the platform barrels.

TO Party LEader: the party leader should stand aside and click Cloto till you get the correct combination. I recommended the party go through the combinations in numerical order: 1-2-3, 1-2-4, 1-2-5, 1-2-6, 1-3-4, 1-3-5, 1-3-6, 1-4-5, 1-4-6, 1-5-6, 2-3-4, 2-3-5, 2-3-6, 24-5, 2-4-6, 2-5-6, 3-4-5, 3-4-6, 3-5-6, 4-5-6 Keep trying the recommended combinations in numerical order till you get the correct combination Once you get the correct combination, the portal will be opened for the next stage. LAST STAGE Jump down the the first row and fight three Curse Eyes. LEADER JOB: COLLECT A TOTAL OF 10 PASSES FROM THIS STAGE. MEMBERS JOB: FIGHT THE MONSTER! haha then, teleport to the second row and fight 6 jr.necki PREPARE YOUR POTION AND SKILL READY FOR THE KING SLIME!~ Once you're ready, jump down and take on King Slime. *WARNING*Becareful of its Earthquake skill. The damage is high.!!! (200+) ONCE THE KING SLIME IS DEAD, LEADER TAKE THE PASS AND GO BACK TO CLOTO. Make sure you have enough Passes to clear the Final stage. If you don't have enough Passes to clear the stage, you have no choice but to get out of here by clicking Nella. After talking to Cloto, the portal will be opened for the next stage. Members and leader Click on cloto to get your prize.! Bonus This Bonus Stage is filled with Horned Mushroom and Green Mushroom. The spawn rate is high in this area. Please be considerate as to not stay in this area too long, and let other parties participate in the Party Quest. Once you are done with the bouns stage, Talk to nella and leave the map...

[Tutorial] Non Dc Godmode, Uber Vac, Weapon Speed Hack, Stat Hack Tools: CE (Cheat Engine) Bypass (Posted below) MapleStory Procedure: Non DC Godmode 1. Target MapleStory with CE. Go MV, and Go to Adress - 596621 2. Right click, change register at this adress, and tick ZF once.

Uber Vac 1. Target MS, then go to MV. 2. Go to Adress 5BD3F9 3. Change register at this adress, and change EAX and EAX to a 3 digit number, from 1999 until the vac is at your desired location. X and Y Vac 1. Target MS, go to MV. 2. Go to Adress, 5BD402, then Change register at this location. 3. Once again, change Eax and EDX to a 3 digit number, 1-999. Non-DC Weapon Speed Hack 1. Target MS, go to MV. 2. Go to adress, 422E45, Change registers at this location. 3. Set the EAX to 00000AE, and weapon speed should work. Starting Stat Hack 1.Target Maplestory with CE 5.1 2.Click settings, than click unrandomizer settings. 3.If you want warrior stats, put 0 (which is default) for the return value. [Tutorial] Wall Vac Tools: CE (Cheat Engine) Bypass MapleStory Procedure: Wall Vac 1: Open CE and target Maple 2: Go into Cash Shop. 3: In CE search 4 byte and search for the left wall value. 4: Go back in game and exit cash shop. 5: In CE search for "changed value" pic 6: Go back into cash shop. 7: In ce search for left wall value again. you should get 1 address left, add this address into the list and there you have it, that's the address for the left wall boundary. left: 4294966946 right: 4294967106 top: 4294967181

If you don't put it in a trainer or find the pointer, then remeber everytime you search the first few numbers are the same in left right top and bottom. [Tutorial] Jump Hack, Full Godmode, Dupe Vac Tools: CE (Cheat Engine) Bypass MapleStory Procedure: Jump Hack with MV (Memory View) 1. Target Maple Story and go to Memory View 2. In memory view, right click and Go To address BEE516. 3. Right click, change register, and Tick ZF. 4. Move in any direction and hold on or press on your jump key multiple times. Full God Mode 1. Target Maple Story and go to Memory View 2. In memory view, right click and go to address 5C0AA3. 3. Right click, change register, and Tick ZF. 4. Although this works against Magical and Bump damage, you must get hit once before it starts "goding" Dupe Vac (I take NO WHATSOEVER CREDIT FOR THIS TUT, CREDITS ALL GO TO DUPEX) 1. First, bypass maplestory, go to the place you want to vac, and HAVE GOD MODE ON.

2. After that, minimize Maplestory and go to Cheat Engine. Go to Memory View, Tools, Auto-assemble, and a window similar to notepad should pop up that says Write Code on the bottom of it. 3. Get a piece of paper and write the numbers 0400, 0000, and 0804 down IN THAT ORDER. Now, see where it says ListOffset, Find Character Address, and DupeXVac? Memorize the first 4 numbers of that or write them down. For all of those people who are asking the same question right now, heres the answer: YES, THEY ARE THE SAME NUMBER, but they aren't always the same number when you punch in the script. 5. Got em? Now, we're almost done, close out of all memory view windows and go back to the Cheat Engine main screen again. Click "Add Address" and type in the 4 numbers you memorized earlier and add 0400 to the number(which is the number you wrote down earlier) in the "Address" section. Make sure it is 4-bytes and its NOT POINTER. The name really doesn't matter but things will be alot clearer in this guide if you name it "ListOffSet".(It should look like "####0400") Then click OK. 6. Go to Memory View now and right click on any of the addresses. Click "Go To Address" and type in 5F0b7b. It should bring you to a number like that and MAKE SURE YOU DONT CLICK ANY OF THE OTHER ADDRESSES.

7. Right Click 5F0b7b and hit Change Register. Check the EIP box and type in the number you memorised or wrote down in Step 4. Then add 0000 to the end of that number. (It should look like "####0000"). Click OK. Wait for about 30secs-2mins(2 mins just to be secure) until the ListOffSet number stops. MAKE SURE THE NUMBER STOPS COMPLETELY. 8. Now, when it completely stops, go back into your Maplestory window and walk around. Notice that your number increased by 1! That means its working! 9. This is the last step basically, Go back to Cheat Engine and click Memory View. Right click the 5F0b7b Address again and BACKSPACE the LAST 3 Zero's in the ####0000 number that you typed in the EIP and type in 804(It should now look like "####0804"). Click OK. 10. Go back to MapleStory and viola! All the monsters are sucked up to you. Now don't be stupid and get banned. To turn it off, simply go back to Cheat Engine and change the 5F0AC8 register to the "####0000" number again. (I WILL BE USING MAPLE GLOBAL vs. 0.21 in this tutorial!) Introduction: In this Super Tutorial, I will be explaining how to create your own NONDC Jump, Speed, NO-Friction, whatever you want hack AND additionally, the main point of this tutorial, how to FIND and CREATE your own hacks after patches. This means you don't have to wait and leech for someone to post the new values every time there's an update. Materials you will be required to have Cheat Engine 5.2 Maple Story *NOTE: This works in all clients SEA, Global, jMS etc. You should already know how to bypass nProtect using server emulation. So let's start..! We will begin by creating a NON-DC Speed Hack. After targetting Maple Story, begin by searching for the value "125, Double". If the search still isn't specific enough, try editing the memory scan options "FROM: 00670000

TO: 06FFFFFF" In Maple Global vs. 21 the address should be 00677910 value 125. We cannot directly edit this value because I believe Maple Story makes CRC checks on these addresses, so we'll have to inject our own code to create our hack. Right click the address and click "Find out what accesses this address". Get back into Maple Story and walk around a bit. The codecave will be used for you to inject our personal assembly code into. These are like little pockets that doesn't contain any data and is free for you to toy around with. After you've found a codecave you should see a whole row of "add [eax], al" This is the empty "pockets" I was talking about. Double click on one of these and add this into the Cheat engine single-linge assembler: "fmul qword ptr [004001ed]" How did I figure out the 004001ed in "fmul qword ptr [004001ed]"? I found an empty line that says "add [eax], al" 12 lines spaced apart from the original one. The 004001ed is the address you will use to edit your power jump value later on. Below the address 004001c5 there should be yet another empty line (add [eax], al). This time double click and type in "jmp 005ee881" How did I figure this out?! If you go to address 005eeadf, the address right below is 005ee881. Go to address 005EEadf, the address under is 005EEae5, 005EEae5 is what you will be using for your "jmp" in the line below 004001c5. It should now look like this 004001C5 - fmul qword ptr [004001Ed] 004001CB - jmp 005eeae5

This applies to all hacks. When it asks you to replace for NOPs just click OK. Now go to 005eeadf and change the register EIP to 004001c5, the start address of the new code you just injected. You can now close the memory view. Go to add address manually and add in your 004001ed, Double. Remember the "fmul qword ptr [004001ed]" we assembled? After adding the address it should say 0. Change the value to 125 for default speed. Change at your will for less and more power. The same concept applies for gravity, power jump, friction etc.

Download the Zip file and unzip it into a folder.(e.g make a new folder and unzip it there. 2. Open the folder you unzipped to, and open using notepad the hxdef100.ini file. (Make sure Hxeef* is not under hidden tables, remove it if it is.) IGNORE THE / or " symbols as they are meaningless and are ignored. Same Concept for Both Vacs 1. Once you inject the code, you will get a box with various things. Just remeber the first 4 digits. Example 0b580000<--- just remember 0b58 2. Then click add address manually and add the list offset. First 4 digits you wrote down and add 0400 to the ending and put it in. Ex. 0b580400 3. Then go to Memory View Press CTRL+G Search 5F0DDF -Right click "change regsiter at", TICK EIP add in the first 4 digits you wrote down with 0000 at the end (Ex. 0b580000). Then wait until the number stops increasing. The number varies by map, but a specific map will always stop at the same number so if it gets to this, you don't have to keep waiting. 4. Then go in game, move your character around, until the "list offset" value increases by one. (If you have a pet, move towards your pet so that your pet does not follow you, or else you and the mosters will be vacced to your pet.") Once the value has increased by one, go back to memory view and change EIP to 0804.
