SUNDAY SCHOOL REPRESENTATIVES MEETING: The Sunday School representatives will meet this Sunday, December 6, at 9:45 in the Choir Room for a brief meeting. STRAW POLL: Currently, the church is mailing out 200 copies of The Challenge newsletter. We are conducting a straw poll to determine how many people in our church would like to receive it via e-mail or a link to the website for the newsletter. Please let your class representative know whether you would want to receive it in this way. Our representatives will then turn in those names to the church office for evaluation. Thank you very much for your help.

Find It Here: Sharing Christ Across Kentucky! The Kentucky Baptist Convention will be held at the Severns Valley Baptist Church in Elizabethtown on Tuesday, November 10. The theme for the meeting will be Find It Here: Sharing Christ Across Kentucky. “Find it Here” is a campaign to deliver the Gospel to 1.5 million households across Kentucky in the weeks leading up to Easter Sunday 2010. It is part of the GPS initiative of the North American Mission Board aimed at fulfilling the Great Commission in North America by 2020. Churches will be encouraged to participate in a High Attendance emphasis during the spring of 2010. You will be hearing more about this emphasis after the first of the New Year. CHILDREN’S NIGHT AT CHRISTMAS: Our children’s choirs will present a program of Christmas music on Sunday night, December 13, at 6:00 p.m. They have been working very hard to prepare for this presentation. Come and join us for this time of worship and bring your extended family. SANCTUARY CHOIR CHRISTMAS PRESENTATION: The Sanctuary Choir will present the musical, “Glorious Impossible,” Sunday, December 20, at 4:00 p.m. Please note that the time is earlier than our regular service time. Come early and invite someone from the community. 1
