Suitable additives/stabilizers for protein solubility screenings and concentration ranges to be used.
Salts (NaCl, KCl) 25, 50, 100 mM Reductants (DTT, BME) 1–10 mM Glycerol 5–10% (vol/vol)
Mild detergents (i.e., octylglucoside, dodecyl maltoside) 6–10 mM If available and if needed: inhibitors, ligands or cofactors (the concentration to be used depends on the binding affinity)
