Achievement Objectives: Level 1 An attempt has been made to ensure that students are involved in learning experiences in each of the six language modes as listed below: Whakarongo Pānui Mātakitaki Kōrero Tuhituhi Whakaari It is intended that language associated with the achievement objectives will be introduced in the context of relevant sociocultural themes, topics and text types to better support the introduction and revision of language in meaningful situations. This annual subject plan provides an overview of the intended learning for this year, supplementary UNITS OF LEARNING further detail the following: Achievement Objectives Proficiency Targets Language Modes Sociocultural Themes Topics Text Types Language Focus Assessment Activities Reporting on student achievement Evaluation and Adjustments as necessary Assessment against the National Qualifications Framework Standards (if applicable)
