Super Easy Knit Webkinz Sweater
Supplies: Worsted weight yarn (two strands- can be the same or contrasting colors) Size 13 needles Instructions: Cast on 16 for a lil’ kinz and 20 for a regular size webkinz. You may want to leave a 6-8 inch tail for stitching at the end. Rows 1-3: knit Row 4: purl Row 5: knit Row 6: purl Row 7: knit Row 8: purl (for regular size webkinz, add 4 rows here, alternating knit and purl rows) Optional: you may add a few rows here to make it longer, alternate knit and purl rows Row 9: knit 2 together, knit row and knit last 2 stitches together Row 10: knit 2 together, purl row and knit last 2 stitches together Row 11: knit 2 together, knit row and knit last 2 stitches together Row 12: knit 2 together, purl row and knit last 2 stitches together Row 13: knit 2 together, knit row and knit last 2 stitches together Row 14: cast off all stitches Finishing: Crochet neck band with a size G or H hook (14 stitches) and sew sides together (first 8 rows).
For a different look, you may easily change the stitch pattern to all knitting rows, knit each row in a 2 knit 2 purl rib stitch, or any other patterned stitch.
