Purpose of exercise: a. To provide for application of critical thinking to the cognitive skills b. To enable the student to collect pertinent data and use skills of interpretation r/t patient care c. To provide opportunity for clinical reasoning d. To provide opportunity to autonomously deliver safe and effective patient care. e. Students will perform the simulation exercise in groups of four and will be provided a limited time to complete the simulation. The instructors will participate in the exercise also. Temple clinical groups – 0830-1130 hours Copperas Cove and Coryell clinical groups – 1230- 1530 hours
