Spine Point 1-12 (12,773 – 16,621 ) P.A Full -Time 37 hours per week Monday - Friday 9:00 – 17:00 Once a Month Monday will be 12:00 – 20:00

RESPONSIBLE TO:

Finance Office, Streetwise Young Peoples Project

MAIN DUTIES:

The following list is typical of the level of duties which the post holder will be expected to perform. It is not necessarily exhaustive and other duties of a similar type and level may be required from time to time.

1. To provide administrative support to all Streetwise Staff and Management Committee. To attend meetings, take & type minutes and distribute meeting papers accordingly. To set up and maintain effective communication systems for all staff teams. 2. To keep the project monitoring data base up to date. This will involve data inputting. 3. To create and maintain systems for recording the monitoring and evaluation of Streetwise services. 4. To maintain the project website and mailing lists. 5. To undertake filing and photocopying as required and to maintain a centralised filing system for all staff. 6. To deal with incoming and outgoing post, answering letters where necessary, and ensuring an adequate supply of postage. 7. To be responsible for the maintenance of office equipment e.g. photocopier, fax machine, computer/software and telephone system, as well as ordering and maintaining the project’s stationery stock and resources for the service. 8. To act as the first point of contact in order to handle enquiries from the general public and other agencies on the telephone and in person. 9. To assist the counselling service in sending out letters to clients. 10. To set up new staff personnel files and maintain personnel records 11. To input absenteeism information into HR management system. 12. To administrate the recruitment process for all new vacancies, advertising and monitoring the application process in line with data protection and confidentiality. 13. To help in the preparation of AGM, annual review and other Streetwise events or training i.e.:-book rooms as well as organise refreshments. 14. To be responsible for the implementation of Health and Safety regulations. 15. To work in line with the projects policy on confidentiality. 16. To promote and implement anti-discriminatory and equal opportunities policies in all aspects of service delivery and employment.
