Stage 1 = only send contractor only to sites where no GC work is planned. Stage 2 (incremental to St1) = send contractor to GC work sites to unload GC to the maximum extent possible. The addition of ESD button(s) to the station emergency shutdown system results in a change to the system. Because of this change, the function of the ESD system must be thoroughly and completely tested prior to returning the station to service. 1) Activate a clearance for the station and de-energize the electrical system, to prevent compressor start and to ensure the ESD wiring is de-energized. 2) Remove the existing ESD button at the connection point for the new ESD circuit, and test the functionality of the existing ESD button to confirm that it is a simple closed/open contact for a single wire pair.

Install conduit seals on all conduit ends (one at the existing ESD button connection point, and one at the new ESD station).

The main breaker in the basement is labeled only for the fuelmaker, so no generator functionality should be on the circuit. None-theless, the rigid conduit does connect the junction box to the generator.

Power to junction box has been interrupted with breaker in basement of office building. Confirm. Remove wire from box to transformer to disconnect to fuelmaker. Remove transformer, disconnect, both boxes, unistrut and flex conduit; return to Victor yard. Leave junction box in place.

AUDIT: One emergency shutdown device (ESD) located on the outside wall of the shop building. The two posts closest to the ESD were located within the 25 to 75 foot range; however, the third and fourth slow fill posts were both located more than 75 feet away from the ESD. The ESD nearest the fast fill dispenser was located on the outside wall of the same shop building, opposite the fast fill dispenser, and was about located about 81 feet from the dispenser. JRG field check measured 74' - no issue.

Oil Tank Removal - capital work item #2 Leave oil supply valves and 6" stub tubing downstream for future drain servicing. Add a needle or ball valve to the separator drains inside the building so that each drain has a ball valve and a needle valve. Remove tank and above ground piping. Remove drain plug or valve from concrete containment, so containment will no longer trap water.

Install new ~41' run of conduit overhead from existing ESD button E2 to proposed new ESD button E3. Vehicles do not drive between the row of dispensors, so overhead rigid steel conduit mounted on the dispensor stanchions should work. Tapping into conduit at E3 and intalling a traffic box would avoid a long conudit run and pulling wire, but the conduit was reported as being 3-4' deep, so the shallow trench and conduit from E2 to E3 has been chosen as easier. Install the ESD sign above the ESD button, visible from the left and right in this photo (2 signs).

AUDIT: There are two rows of slow fill posts. The rows are separated by a driveway. One row contains 6 posts and the other row has 11 posts. The row of 11 posts has one pole-mounted ESD at each end of the row. The row of 6 posts has one ESD located on Building E. There is also an ESD located on the garage. Row containing 11 posts - Four of 11 dispenser posts are not located within the 25 to 75 foot distance of an ESD. The three posts located nearest to the driveway are all within 25 feet of the ESD located nearest them. They are all further than 75 feet from any other ESD. The sixth post from the end closest to the three is located more than 75 feet from any ESD.
