OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOX APPEAL.
October 18th, 2009
29th Sunday, Year B Psalter Wk I
C.W.L. will be supporting this charity for the 3rd year and we have been very
grateful for the generous support of the parish in the past. The boxes are delivered to children living in Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia and every box we manage to fill will let one child know they have not been forgotten and bring a smile to their face. As in past years we are asking for you to donate gifts and we can then fill the boxes. Also if you wish to make a donation towards administration costs we would be grateful. Below is a list of gift suggestions. Toys:Soft toys, small balls, finger puppets, small jigsaws, building blocks, small musical instruments, trucks, cars, dolls etc. Educational Supplies :Felt pens, pencils, crayons, rubbers, pens, pencil sharpeners, colouring books, notebooks etc. Hygiene Items :Toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, comb, hair clips, soap, flannel etc. Other Items :Sweets (sell by date at least March 2010 ), gloves, scarves, hats, sunglasses, cap, hat, bangles etc.
