Spiritual Warfare Part 1 Getting victories over the forces of evil is easier than you probably think once you are no longer ignorant of his devices. Read 2Cor.2:11: " Lest satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices." The problem here has been the believers attending false churches which of course aren't going to teach satans devices, they are one of his devices. Also remember 1Jn.4:4: "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." You're supposed to win. Remember this isn't their gospel I'm preaching, I'm preaching the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Now let's read Math.10:34-39: " Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life shall find it." Look for attacks to come from those in your own household. I shutter to think about how many believers are married to false believers. Look two people serving the Lord Jesus Christ would never divorce. Look at how widespread divorce is amongst those calling themselves Christians. Basically, you need to fear no one and not fear anything even loss of your own life and you're gonna win. Remember fear of those that kill the body is a sin, see Math.10:28. The best way for a false believer to be a threat to you is to get close to you and get you to trust them. Make sense! But remember they will convey to you something that clearly indicates they are out of order in terms of being a person you shouldn't be fellowshipping with. Their gospel is very lenient in this area, but the true Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ isn't. The Devil and the evil spirits need sin to be present in order to be able to work evil against you. James 4:7 - 8:"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the Devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded." James 4:10 " Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up."

Eph.4:27 " Neither give place to the devil." Read 1Jn.5:18 " We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not." When you follow Apostolic Doctrine in your congregations, the Devil will be resisted and flee. Sinning (any sin) is not resisting the devil. By this I mean false believers, false teachers, false prophets, etc. will not be able to stay in your midst. These people work with demons and the demons will want nothing more than to flee from a congregation operating correctly. Of course the believers have to also be operating as believers should be in their personal lives as well. In the absence of sin, the devil and the evil spirits can't harm you, you are resisting and they will flee. God's word always comes true. You see a false church needs to rely on real estate to get it's credibility. The false churches don't want the correct doctrine of meeting in houses spreading. The vast majority of believers have a house or place to live that is suitable for meetings. They don't want true congregations sprouting up, so they create the concept of a church building. They also run a similar deception regarding the value of denominational affiliation and seminaries. A church building of course requires a large amount of money. Let's look at this from another perspective. Take a false church that has 3000 regular attendees. There are a lot of these around. Now, let's say the staff of workers for that church is six to ten people. Now if satan were to follow the Apostolic model of congregations meeting in houses he'd need many more people to deceive and control these same 3000 people. Folks, out of these 3000 people there are bound to be a bunch of false believers but these too satan must keep deceived. Satan doesn't approach people like "I'm the devil, worship me, serve me and you'll spend eternity in the lake of fire." He's a deceiver and deceives his own followers. His followers seem to think they can beat the scriptures. They're wrong. So, if we say 50 people can make up a reasonable house congregation, that gives us 60 congregations for the same 3000 people. Minimally this would require 60 pastors plus other ministry workers. The large church with real estate is a better more efficient model for satan to use, and of course it's not Apostolic doctrine. The denominations are another way the false churches give themselves credibility and of course bring another sin into the situation. You can't be a true church and join a denomination. True doctrine doesn't allow for it. Another way they lend credibility to themselves is by attending seminaries. Nowhere in the New Testament do we read of any ministry worker attending such an educational institution and it is never stated as a requirement for one to enter into the ministry. The Apostles never started any seminaries. They would hold meetings and teach, but they never built any seminaries. Again, it's just a way for the false workers to give themselves credibility. Seminaries also screen out true committed believers. These false church tactics are designed to introduce additional sin and make it harder for someone who is a true believer to hold meetings as a new congregation. When the Lord moves it is with power. This power makes the buildings and other trappings seem foolish.

Mk. 16:20 " And they went forth and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following." God will confirm the preaching and of course practicing his word correctly with signs following. This satan really has a fear of. When the believer sees, tastes and experiences the real, the counterfeit will lose it's appeal. If satan didn't make the false churches somewhat appealing the believers would never attend them. Do you know scripture teaches us it is possible to preach another Jesus, preach another gospel and receive another spirit! I can prove it .Read 2Cor.11:4: " For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him." Math.24:23-27 talks of false christs. In fact this passage comes right out and tells you not to look for Jesus being on this earth again, doesn't it ! We read of being able to see him coming but we don't read of him on this earth. The Jesus, the false churches preach is going to come on this earth. So now you know how satan is attempting to set the believers up to accept the man of sin. See 2Thes.2:4: " Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the Temple of God, showing himself that he is God." We know this is the man of sin from verse 3. We also know he sitteth in the Temple of God and he also holds himself out to be God although he is a man. So you can see why it's important for the false church to promote a Jesus on this earth in the Temple of God. This is false doctrine of course designed to lead astray the believers and trick them into worshipping the man of sin. Want to see more, read Gal.1:6-9: " I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received let him be accursed." Paul said those that preach another gospel (or in my interlinear it says preaches contrary to the gospel) would be cursed. He didn't say it's okay to fellowship with them in love and so forth. Dwell on these things. Pray for wisdom, insight, discernment, truth. Dwell on the signs and wonders you read about in the New Testament. Want the power back in the Church? Sure you do!

2Cor.6:17,18 "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." This scripture is not referencing marriage(s). We are not to be divorcing spouses except in the case of adultery. This isn't a call for divorce, it is a call to separate yourselves and not touch the unclean thing which a false church meets the test of being. Christians aren't isolationists. We are supposed to be witnesses in and to the world. We must circulate freely amongst the people. It is those that hold themselves out to be believers that behave contrary to the word of God that we must take great pains to avoid as the scripture so directs us. Let's read Lk.10:18 - 19: "And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." This should apply to the true believers today as well and remember the seventy didn't have the power available from the baptism of the Holy Spirit at that time. Also, in Mark 16:17 - 18 the scripture says: "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover." So we are given powers similar in kind but more broad. And for another reason. Jesus said in John 14:12: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." I will get into this a bit in dealing with Satan and demons later on but suffice it to say at this point in the work that you can tread on any and all power the enemy has. This is only if you're not in sin. If you are in sin, sin is the master that you are serving. Rom.6:16 " Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?" If you are in fellowship with a person or persons you shouldn't be in fellowship with, this places you in sin. Don't expect to be able to cast any demons out of that person until you end the fellowship and ask for forgiveness from the Lord in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. This of course can all take place in a matter of a few seconds. So if you go into an

unscriptural Church with crosses, women preaching, denominational affiliations, etc. don't think you can cast out the demons from the people running such a Church while you are in the Church. These sins give the demons a sin induced comfort level and also enables them to work evil and not flee from believers in such a place. You can cast evil spirits out of people without being within hearing distance of them and this will be covered in a short while as I move from the subject of Churches to demons. A false believer has to make a true believer aware of their unscriptural beliefs and/or practices in order for it to be a sin for the believer to be in fellowship with that person. The same for attending a false church. You need to really understand this. It's important. If a false believer had perfect doctrine and practices as far as you knew, and you thought them to be a true believer, it wouldn't be sin for you to be in fellowship with such a person. It is for this reason that the false church makes no secrets of the anti-scriptural doctrines and practices. The demons operating with the false believer will not be comfortable being around you if you aren't in sin and they would flee. By the way why in the world would anyone want to be a false believer if they weren't serving satan and his demons? Think about it. People can be deceived about being a believer but this isn't what I mean when I refer to a false believer. A false believer worships the unclean spirits and knows he or she is not a believer. They will have demons in them. The false believers will usually soften up their off the mark (sin) policies and practices by saying things like I just can't stop, I have a problem, I'm confused, or some other story or rationalization to get you to feel sorry for them having the problem or staying in sin. You're not going to hear: I sinned, I asked the Lord to forgive me and I'm never going to do that again, and then the subject never comes up again and they never do it again. If a false believer were to act and speak in a completely scriptural manner the sin would be missing and the devil would not be able to work his evil works and would need to flee. 1Jn.2:19 " They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us." You see this is what happens when you start to follow Apostolic Doctrines, you resist the devil and he flees. One more time I'd like to say that Apostolic teachings are of course the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Apostles were taught by Jesus and they serve for the Lord Jesus Christ. Here is another scripture or doctrine that the so called church wipes it's feet on. 2Jn. 9 - 11. "Whosoever transgresseth and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the father and the son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God Speed: For he that biddeth him God Speed is partaker of his evil deeds."

First reread this several times and dwell on it. Now believe it and walk in it, after all it is the Bible, and please remember I didn't write it. I'd like to say the King James Translators took a Greek word that more accurately means to give someone a greeting and translated it God Speed. I have seen the word translated as Hail in other translations. The word is a salutation. The Greeks would use this word to start a letter. Jesus used this practice when he sent out the twelve telling them not to salute any man by the way, see Lk. 10:4. Also see 2Kings4:29. Forget the teachings of man and start following the doctrines in the Bible. Read 2Jn.7,8: " For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an Antichrist. Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward." One of the most antiscriptural teachings around is that when the mormons or jehovahs come a knocking we should invite them into our homes and be hospitable to them and of course try to witness to them. This of course is in direct violation of 2Jn.9-11 and shouldn't be practiced. These cultists are out spreading doctrines of demons holding themselves out to be disciples and servants of the Lord Jesus Christ. Yuk. You give them credibility if you let them in. If a neighbor or someone sees you welcome them in and this person knows you to be a man or woman of God, they may think it is good to entertain these cultists and hence become snared themselves. Don't even open the door when they come a knocking. Better yet say this - In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I command you unclean spirits to come out of these people at my door now. The people outside the door don't need to hear you say it, just say it very softly. You are talking to the spirits not them. If all the believers would do this I am quite certain these cultists would knock it off with their door to door evangelizing, and quickly. Ministries training and teaching people to take these people into their homes and be nice to them, get them a snack and/or some coffee or a soft drink are false ministries and avoid them. Our Gospel doesn't allow this. These teachings teach the believer to disregard the scriptures in the name of love or witnessing. The scriptures are for our own good and we need to follow them. It's not okay to break scriptures regardless of the rationalizations. These cultists knocking on your door are well aware of 2Jn.9-11.You are in sin if you invite them into your home. By saying they are with such and such a cult, they are saying that they do not agree with the doctrines of the New Testament yet many of them will profess to be Christians at the same time. This is classical false believer theology. Remember, you can't cast demons out of a person when you are sinfully fellowshipping with that person. They are there to bring evil into your house, don't be deceived. Heb.5:8,9 " Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; and being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him." Note: Jesus is the author of eternal salvation to those that obey him. Paul dealt with a false believer in a similar fashion in Acts 16:16-18. You've been given power to cast out

demons without restrictions or conditions (read Mark 16:17). It doesn't say anything about the ground needing to be withdrawn or the demons just coming immediately right back in. Luke 11:24-26 tells us when the demons leave a person the demons go to a very dry place and have no rest, but they later can come in with seven more if the person doesn't repent. Demons essentially have a bad time when cast out of someone. You are doing no harm to a person by casting a demon out of them even if they want the demon. Demons are bad for everyone and you are setting the person free from a cursed thing. If they wish to return back to their own vomit that is their problem. Mind you when you do cast a demon out of a satanist it is a wakeup call. He or she then has to deal with the fact that they aren't exempt from the scriptures and their demon gods aren't so powerful. Does the scripture "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee" (Heb.13:5), have new meaning to you now. Satanists can't cast the Holy Spirit out of a believer, but you can cast their so called gods out of them. It should get them thinking when their demon buddy who may have been in there for twenty or forty years all of a sudden has to go. Hmmm. What's wrong with this picture? Am I really going to spend eternity in the lake of fire? Now you're not so ignorant regarding satan's devices. Read on. More good practical applications to follow. False believers that work with demons read the Bible avidly to find ways of getting believers into various sins. It is sort of a sin roadmap to them. Read 2Pet.2:whole chapt. for a fine discourse on the subject of false believers. It is my experience satan and the demons don't really have an in depth grasp of the scriptures, if they did they wouldn't have crucified Jesus, see 2Cor.2:8. Without the presence of sin, the demons are powerless and will flee. Without the presence of sin you're not powerless, on the contrary you are powerful. Throwing a demon out of someone is not doing harm or putting a curse on the person. It is a beneficial action freeing the person of the curse. Mind you, here I have been dwelling on casting demons out of Satan's evil workers, who want the demons in them. There are people that have demons that don't want them. It is different with a person who doesn't want the demons. This should be done on a personal level so you could explain to the person the Gospel and encourage them to get saved not just freed from the demons. We can't win the fight by casting out demons alone but it is a powerful tool. It is also a witness to the evil workers. They can't really believe the demons are so powerful after they are cast out of them. Evil workers will tend to take the event rather personally and not appreciate you freeing them of their supposed gods or however they view the demons. They will also be afraid of your power over their masters and be somewhat afraid of you in some instances. I mean here you come along and uproot those they fear and respect. They see the power of God in you and fear sets in. Read Acts5:5-13. Now someone is going to think about the tribulation and satan persecuting the believers. Yes, I know there is such a thing as THE tribulation, but remember Rev. 13:7: " It was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations."

Satan is given the power to do the things in the tribulation, once. This is a one time event that is not yet occurring at the time of this writing. Those who work with the demons normally will go for help to the demons or other evil workers to try a more craftily devised plan to trap you in a sinful snare. They need to work through sin, your sin that is. If you don't give them sin, they can't work. You resist the devil and he flees. I have never seen them get violent with the person doing the casting out. I have never seen a demon fling around or otherwise physically abuse the person they are being cast out of. When you read of these events in the scriptures you see the person wanted the demon to come out. The demon and the person will sometimes conceal from you the act of the demon departing. The demon doesn't want to hurt the person, they want the person to want more demons to go back in. They both want you to think the demon casting is not working. Don't look for visible signs, walk by faith not sight. The Bible says it, you did as the Bible says using the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the demon will come out and that is that. Your spiritual warfare is with the demons not the person. You are not attacking the person, so why should the person manifest any physical signs. Make sense! If the demons wish to make the person manifest in the physical they can as they did in the New Testament, BUT remember Luke 10:19 you can command them to not do this. Anything they have the power to do you can tread on. Dwell on this. This is why satan goes to such elaborate measures to keep the believers from discovering and walking in the truth. When Paul cast the demon out of the woman bothering him we read of no physical reactions from the woman, Read Acts 16:18 " And this she did many days. But Paul being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour." Note Paul didn't engage the demon in conversations or ask it's name. Paul didn't worry about any ground being removed. Paul didn't care if the woman wanted the demon there or not. Note Paul spoke to the spirit not the person. Whether or not the person wants the demon out is irrelevant and will not cancel or affect Mark 16:17. You don't need to know the name of the demon or demons to cast it out of someone. Paul didn't in the above example. In Mk.9:25 we read something interesting Jesus did when casting out a demon: " When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him." Jesus told the demon it couldn't go back into the person again. You can do the same. Forget about retaliations from satan in your life. He can't work without sin. You can cast demons out of people all day long and the demons are powerless to stop you or retaliate later on making your life more difficult. Read Luke 10:19 enough times until you grasp this firmly. If you're not in sin and full of the Holy Spirit rest assured you have already come to the attention of Satan as a potential threat. 1Jn.4:4 " Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."

Remember just one person can wreck satan's whole program and his world system. What about Noah! What about Elijah! Acts 17:6 " And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also." The ungodly saw the Apostles as turning the world upside down. To the godly satan turned the world upside down and the Apostles merely were turning it right side up again. Your spiritual weapons are so powerful, so very powerful, my brothers and sisters pray that the Lord shows you how to use them and wage a good fight and may your eternal rewards in heaven be great. Oh if you want to experiment in the area of demon casting don't be shy. You my brothers and sisters can cast demons out of political leaders anywhere in the world, out of entertainment personalities anywhere in the world, out of anyone. Don't be try start with the cult leaders you know the names of. Do it in the privacy of your own home. Need to build up your faith a bit more Read Mark 11:23: " For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith." You read it, believe it and walk in it. You can cast the demons out of a nuclear submarine commander under the polar ice cap right now from your living room. You can cast out the demons from a military leader in a fortress under some mountain designed to resist a nuclear strike. You can cast out the demons from an astronaut in some satellite in space. Yes you can. Yeah you. Try upsetting the demons in your home town. Drive around stop by strip joints, bars, fortune tellers, psychics, cults, rock concerts, porno stores, false churches, etc. Command the demons to come out from any person in the premise your addressing, now in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Don't have a car. Get a yellow pages and let your fingers do the walking while you do the tossing. See you can put the yellow pages to good use. You upset satan's work and workers tremendously this way. Just imagine all these tossed out demons getting together in the dry places where they have no rest talking about what happened to them. Remember satan has a finite (fixed) number of demons. Satan has no power to create demons. If the demons are to eventually return to the evil worker they departed from and bring seven more, eventually there is going to be a demon shortage. The apostles and Jesus did a lot of demon tossing during their ministry. One of the things it does is confuse and bewilder the enemy. Also bear in mind that we read in Mark 9:25 of Jesus telling a demon to come out of person and to enter no more into him. If Jesus did it why can't you? Read John 14:12: " Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. "

Just in passing where would that leave us if Jesus left his Father and came to live on earth. Now we need a scripture to prove you can cast out demons without being in earshot of them, don't we. Don't believe what people say in the absence of supporting scriptures when it comes to doctrine. Read mark 7: 26-30: " The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter. But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast in unto the dogs. And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet let the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs. And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter. And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed." There you have it. Make your town a place where demons fear to tread. If you get stumped cry out to the Lord for help in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Read Ps.56:9: " When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know for God is for me." Don't forget you can always pray for God to toss the demons out of whoever you want in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ as well. Happy tossing. You can also pray to the Lord to throw the demons out of anyone who is trying to curse you or your family or targeting you in any way for an evil work, your family too. God knows who they are. See how defeated and vulnerable satan and the demons are according to the true Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Keep reading, more good stuff. The entire series and much more on www.messianic.biz
