Hebrews 11:1 (Translation from the Spanish Bible “Bíblia en

Lenguaje Sencillo”) To trust in God is to be completely sure that you are going to receive what you are expecting. It is to be convinced that something is real even if we cannot see it. I am truly convinced that we are in the latter days and that the Second Coming of Christ is at hand. I believe that in these days more than ever we need to reinstate our basic beliefs, in essence, those beliefs that originally brought us to Christ. We are being bombarded daily with words like “tolerance”, “political correctness” and “evidence”, etc. What surprises me is that those that use those words suddenly become intolerant when somebody opposes their views; they never admit it when something that is “politically correct” suddenly becomes a problem. Nonetheless, when something that is “evident” suddenly become a lie, nobody wants to admit that they are wrong and the mistake, the error, or lie remains as “truth” to them. To me, this is the reason why we now more than ever need to be convinced that there is a God and that He has left us His Word, which is the Bible, for us to use as a guide. We need to be convinced that when something apparently contradicts the Bible, it is not the Bible that is wrong; it is either the contradiction or our interpretation of the Bible that is wrong, God is never wrong! We are the ones who make mistakes.
