had

he
ran
off
into

the
brutal
 murderer.

It
seems
that
 Lenny
is
still
causing
 trouble
for
the
ranch,
 even
though
he
is
 safely
down
in
his
 grave.
 Some
of
the

Soledad
have
 started
a
group,
 protesting
the
killing
 of
Lenny.
They
think
 that
everyone
should
 be
brought
to
a
court
 before
being
 executed.
The
group
 thinks
that
Mr.
Curley
 tries
to
stand
above
 the
law.
It
has
not
yet
 been
proven
that
 Lenny
is
the
killer,
but

The

say
that
it
is
a

are

able

moment
the
 road
to
San

bad
and
has
a
lot
of
 holes
in
it.
If
we
could
 get
the
unemployed
 people
to
work
on
 the
road,
we
might
 improve
the
economy
 in
our
community.
It
 will
be
a
win‐win
 situation.
 Right
now
if
we
don’t
 do
something
fast
our
 economy
might
be
 affected
worse
by
the
 stock
markets
crash.
