SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE 1.COMPUTER SIMULATION TECHNOLOGY CST MICROWAVE STUDIO is a powerful tool for the 3D EM simulation of high frequency component. CST enables the fast and accurate analysis of high frequency (HF) devices such as antenna, filter, couplers, planar. Exceptionally user friendly, CST quickly gives you an insight into the EM behaviour of high frequency design. It helps to work both in time as well as frequency domain. It consist of 6 powerful solver module which helps to solve and given simulation at fast rate.

FIG NO.: 2. Vector Network Analyser RF network analysers are vital items of instrumentation for RF design lab as well as many manufacturing and service areas. The RF network analyser provides a stimulus for the network and then monitors the response. In this way the operation and performance can be seen and assessed for its suitability. RF network analysers can be used for all RF and microwave frequencies - some network analysers can operate well into the microwave region.

FIG NO.: 3. SubMiniature Version A Connector (SMA Connector)

An SubMiniature version A (SMA) connector is a coaxial cable connector. As a semiprecision minimal connector interface with a screw-type coupling mechanism for coaxial cables. This connector features only 50 ohms of impedance coupling mechanism. It offers excellent performance from 0 to 18 GHz and is usually used as an RF connector for antennas.

CIRCUIT BOARD

A printed circuit board (PCB) mechanically supports and electrically connects electronic component or electronic components using conductive tracks, and other features etched from

one or more sheet layers of copper laminated onto and/or between sheet layers of a nonconductive substrate. In case of design we are making use of FR4 substrate which has their own set of benefits.Components are generally soldered onto the PCB to both electrically connect and mechanically fasten them to it.
