Scene- 1 Suppose in our relative’s place twins have born. One is boy and another is girl. We are going to see them in hospital. Both are wrapped/covered with a cloth from neck to feet.

? Can we know their sex

Scene- 2 Munna and Munni both are now three month old. Both are hungry..

? Does Munni cry less or Munna more ? Does she left her milk for Munna to drink

Scene- 3 Munna and Munni both are now two years old. Munna is wearing Shirt and half pant and Munni frock and panty.

? Does kids of two years, choose their clothes by their own wish

Scene- 4 Now twins are of 6 years old. We are invited on the occasion of their Birth Day. We are going to a gift shop to take gifts for them both.

? First, what does shopkeeper asks us ? What gifts he/she shows us

Scene- 5 Munna gets bat and boll…. in the gift. He is playing with bat and ball. ? Where does bat, ball use to play

Munni gets kitchen set and doll…. in the gift. She is playing with doll and stuffs. ? Where does doll and kitchen set use to play

Scene- 6 After some time both felt boring in playing with the same toys and they try to change their toys with each other. Munni picks the bat boll and get ready to go out side for playing.

? What is our/society reaction on this change

Scene- 7 Munna and Munni are 20 years old now. Munni has completed her degree in Social Science. Munna has done Hotel Management course and now he is cook in a reputed hotel. He is getting good salary. But always we use to say that women are very good in cooking.

? If it is so, why in all the world class hotels men are cook

Scene- 8 Munni’s Marriage is fixed. Her fiancé is a good designer and prepare the clothes for boutiques. His salary is also handsome. He will start a new business/shop from dowry money. ? If men could not stitch their clothes at home (this is women’s work) so why most of the tailors are men

Gender Tree of Socialization Fruits and Leaves- Fruits and leaves indicates the result in the society. That shows in form of discrimination against women. In to the home, at public place, at work place etc. It shows exploited behavior . It causes gender Discrimination.

Stem- All the social institutions like- family, religion, education, media etc. Through this transfer social values and attitudes from one generation to next.

Roots- Roots define the values and assumptions of the society, people’s behavior and attitude. These values are patriarchal that creates discrimination between boys and girls. Participation in decision making.
