Duqum Site visit for both Desalination & Power plant By Mr. Anil Barboza (LTEM - MOD site) Following points may be noted: 1) The site is approximately 3 km from Duqum town. 2) The main site is in hilly area, grading works to be carried out as a part of the EPC scope with all access roads etc. 3) Camp may be set up at site (after grading) or at Duqum town. 4) Electricity/water is to be arranged by the contractor. 5) The client/consultant is changing the route of the sea water intake pipeline (reducing the length from 1.8 km) 6) Soil condition is rocky. 7) It is understood that the Client/Consultant had done some initial land survey and we need to ask for the report to understand the quantum of the grading works.
