Shots for Magazine Cover •
2 lesbians, shoulder/waist height, level angle for the background. On the right in the foreground, boyfriend standing cross-armed. This shot will portray the lesbian affair to the reader through positioning of the boyfriend. We chose to use this shot as it is the main storyline in our soap advert. Text overlapping the image, such as ‘Amber CHEATS on Coyle with Louise?!’ to encourage people to watch the soap. This continuous storyline will be our serial-narrative, told through a series of episodes and is used as our primary-shocker image which follows on o the meta-narrative plotlines. This will therefore be laid out in the centre of the magazine cover/poster to draw attention.

The following images on the magazine cover and poster are the sub-plots. These are the plotlines relating to different characters out of the love triangle. These produce different constructions and climax points, relating to extreme storylines such as homicide and kidnapping. With these included on the front cover of a magazine, it allows the reader a chance to escape from reality and real life problems.
