General Objective: At the end of my first School Health Nursing (SHN), I will be able to gain sufficient knowledge, manifest competent and reliable beginning skills and desirable attitude and values towards the care of school age children. Specific Objectives At the end of this rotation I will be able to:

Review on the past lessons about Service Learning and Community Health Nursing.
•
Listen attentively on ward classes.
•
Read about the procedures to be performed in the procedure manual/papers and books.
•
Practice.
•
Familiarization of oneself to the physical set-up of the area.
•
Build rapport with the children, teachers, CI, classmates and the staff in the clinical area.
•
Greet them with respectfully.
•
Communicate with them in the properly.
•
Assess attentively while having the ocular survey.
Understand further on the essential concepts and topics in relation to School Health Nursing.
Perform procedures with safely and competently.
Maintain professional relationship with the children, teachers and to all the people that may or not be covered with my care (including classmate, clinical instructor, utility personnel and etc.)
Identify the problems that may
hinder the children of quality care in the school or in the clinic.

Pass at 75% level of competency all quizzes and exams that we will have in this rotation.

Observe intensively.
•
Be mindful in all the information you have gathered while interviewing a client.
•
Listen to all discussions and ward classes and study intensively the topics at hand.
•
Study more and pay attention to every detail that you have gathered and be mindful in every action you are going to perform in the clinical area.
Improve more on my skills, knowledge and attitude towards the care of school age children.
