Settles Family Reunion Update September 24, 2008 Greetings from the Baltimore Chapter Dear Chapter Presidents: We are excited and very busy with planning for our next family reunion. Enclosed is an information packet to help you and your chapter members to begin planning for the reunion. Please note the registration and hotel deadlines. The hotel will be setting up a website so that family members will be able to reserve hotel rooms online or by phone. I will notify you when the webpage is up and running. We are still in the process of planning family activities. As noted, more information about activities will follow. For planning purposes, we need an approximate number of people who may be attending the reunion. Please send me the number of family members who are pretty sure that they will be attending. Please be sure to indicate whether the family member is a senior citizen (age 65 and over), adult (age 18-64), or child (age 6-17). Settles Family Reunion Update The Baltimore Chapter has chosen historic Annapolis, Maryland as the site for our Seventeen Biennial Settles Family Reunion. Annapolis, the capital of Maryland, has a rich African -American history. We are sure that you will find Annapolis an exciting site for our reunion.
