I was fortunate to have grown up here and I know that I benefited from a great family, strong schools, and supportive neighbors. That’s the kind of city what we expect Newton to be, and I’m running for Mayor because with new leadership that’s the kind of city Newton can continue to be. I believe we can bring people together to address the city’s challenges and move forward again. I believe we can have the best school system in the state – nothing short of a model of excellence for 21st century learning. I believe we can have a city that runs effectively and efficiently, that plans for the long term and embraces innovation wherever it can make us better. I have enclosed my resume for your consideration and I encourage you to talk directly to my references about my leadership experience and my character. I look forward to serving as your next Mayor.
