ALL INDIVIDUALS IN THE TOWNSHIP OF HAVERFORD AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES

FROM:

Township of Haverford – Board of Commissioners

SUBJECT:

R100 SEPTA LINE

The Board of Commissioners of the Township of Haverford has become aware of a tragedy involving the horrific death of a 19 year old young man by being electrocuted by the third rail and then being run over by a SEPTA R100 Rail Line. PLEASE remind young children and individuals of all ages to stay clear of these lines and DO NOT use the track as a cut through. These wires are live. SEPTA, however, does have postings “NO TRESPASSING”. This Board, in Haverford Township, believes it is not enough. We are requesting your help in spreading the word, “STAY OFF THE TRACKS”! We do not want this tragedy to strike your home or anyone else. Thank you.
