SENTENCE

A group of words that makes sense is called sentence. Eg: I m playing hockey.

Types of sentences: 1. ASSERTIVE SENTENCE: An assertive sentence is one which states something. It may be affirmative Eg.:- she speaks the truth.

2. Interrogative sentnce An interrogative sentence is one which asks a question. Eg: where is my pen?

3. Imperative sentence An imperative sentence is one which expresses a command,a request,an adive or an entreaty. Eg: shut the door.

4. Exclamatory sentence An exclamatory sentemce is one which express some sudden or deep feeling Eg: what a fine weather!
