In this particular assignment, I’m the one who is responsible to make the top hat and spray the pattern on gimono. The top hat is made out of rolled cardboard with 2 additional pieces glue at the top and the bottom. The spraying is more complicated than the hat. First I have to cut the cardboard into Japanese pattern to use it to guide my paint. After that, I put it on the cloth and start to spray. Moreover, I need to spray it multiple time to make the pattern pop out and look natural. I’ve learn many lesson from this assignment: team working, time management, creative skill. Creative skill is the most essential lesson for me. To make the pieces of unused things look beautiful is very hard which is very challenging for my creative thought. However, time management is another one that is also important for me. We have limited time, thus we need to make every minute count. Articulate communicators is the ESLOs that can be related to this project because we got to practice on working with other people, listening to their opinion and respect each other.
