The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States (the "Commission") requests a briefing/orientation focusing on how the White House was organized to respond, and how it did respond, to the events of September 11,2001. The briefing should focus on the actions and decisions made by individuals in the White House Situation Room and the Presidential Emergency Operations Center (PEOC) on the morning of September 11,2001. In connection with this briefing, the Commission requests a list of persons on duty at these locations on the morning of September 11, 2001, and asks that as many of those individuals still assigned to the Situation Room and PEOC be available during the briefing/orientation. The Commission requests that this briefing be scheduled at the earliest possible date.
