1 x hour lesson Introduction – Chn in circle passing round a ‘squeeze’ to demonstrate idea of closed circuit Main input – Model each piece of equipment and discuss related health and safety e.g. glass bulbs, crocodile clips. Challenge children in pairs to light bulb. Paired activity - Chn in pairs lighting bulbs using given equipment. Plenary – Use visualiser zoom to observe closely filament lighting up inside bulb.
