Reason—Inform others about the process of germination Audience—Other class members and teachers Format—Paragraph (5-7 sentences, minimum) Task—Write a complete paragraph outlining the steps of germination, in order. Be sure to include: (You will probably need your science binders to complete this assignment) (1) Science vocabulary:
germination, seed, seed coat, embryo, cotyledon, leaf, flower
(2) Transition words: First, second, third, etc. Next, then, last, etc. (3) A Topic Sentence—What is it all about? (4) A Conclusion Sentence—Wrap it up (5) 3-5 details/facts to support your topic sentence (6) Proofread for: Capitalization Usage Punctuation Spelling (7) Check to see that each sentence expresses a complete thought. (8) Give your paper a title (9) Type the final copy in Microsoft Word a.
Make sure that you have used a legible font

Make sure that you have a heading on the top right side of your paper that includes your name, number, and date.
