Unit 2 – Travelling
Lesson 2 – On Foot.
Alan: Excuse me, but I’m new here, and I want to go to the cafeteria – can you tell me how to get there? Betty: The cafeteria? That’s easy. First, you walk out of the classroom and go straight. Alan: And then? Betty: Then, you walk down the stairs and take a left. If you keep going straight a while, you should end up at the cafeteria. Alan: Wait, no. That’s wrong. Turning left takes me to the basketball court! Betty: No, it doesn’t. Alan: Yes, it does! I may be new, but at least I know where the basketball court is. Betty: Oh, you’re right.
