SAYING GOOD-BYE
“This day was our last interns meeting for the semester. It is a weird feeling because part of me doesn’t feel like it is close to being over because there is still so much to do but the other part of me acknowledges the finality of the internship experience. It’s quickly coming to a close and I must say that I am somewhat relieved.” -Anna Adams, 24 November 2009
Developmental Stages at this point: • Timing and style -Staff holiday party on December 11 at my supervisor’s house- will provide closure to the semester and a chance to say good-bye •
Self-Inventory -Confirmed interests- teaching/advising -Level of Confidence- knowledgeable about course design & facilitating effective classroom environments

Task of ending -Final proposal to CTLE; will present in January at a staff meeting
“In addition to this process offering closure to the internship experience, my site supervisor invited me to the annual office holiday party. I am looking forward to the opportunity because it will give me the chance to officially say goodbye and thank everyone for their hospitality this semester.” -Anna Adams, 24 November 2009
